Ok everyone, I bought one of the Big Jamboxes, by Jambone, when they first showed up on the market early last year. I absolutely love the thing. Friends and family members have looked from afar and listened intently, questioning where all the sound was coming from. I carry the box with me on all of my travels and adventures, however I never could find the right case for carrying it, so I wrapped it in a towel and placed in in my laptop bag. But Alas!!! Resolve has come. Needless to say, I dropped my jambox, damaged it and now it sounds funny. I didn't have the drop/spill warranty so I had to buy another one at cost...Whew! hit me pretty hard but a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do for Quality Sound! I bit the bullet and bought bigjambox number 2. This time, with the warranty. But still I didn't have the proper carrying case. I then saw the VAULT! Ordered it and now i'm back in the saddle with Top sound and Protection beyond belief. Those who have seen this product, already know, it costs a bit but is well worth what it costs. The protection alone,waterproof and the durability is absolutely what is needed with the bigjambox. Thank you Amazon for offering/supporting top of the line products like this one. My brother in law has the same jambox and is ordering his Vault for his box today... More purchasers to follow, I guarantee...

this thing has worked as far as keeping speaker safe and dry. havent put in water but used on and off the boat around water on seadoo etc. after first few uses it does seem to rattle a bit when playing songs with some bass. i thought i blew the big jam box speakers playing at high volumes a lot, but during the winter using the jam bax outside this case it still sounds great. i would recommend this to keep safe as i runined one $300 jam box quickly without it, but for $110 i would expect them to have a product that doesnt rattle when being used with the one item it was purposly made for.

Works great as advertised. The thing is awesome. I took it tubing down the river with some friends and it held up. It was dropped into the river, and floated along a few times through the rapids. I don't think its intended to be submerged, but it does ok with a splash.The water proof is a plastic lining on the insides, behind the padding foam. Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far so good. Hope theres some type of warranty to replace the lining in the event it becomes 'un-water-proof' one day. The outer shell is tough as nails, so no worry there!

Quick shipping (I live in Japan). Nicely packaged and seems to be of good quality. Already taken it to the beach and the pool with great results. Nothing like being able to enjoy my Jambox without haven't to worry about my investment. Although I miss the extra power and 360 degree sound my homemade cooler radio puts out, you can't beat the lightweight portability and WATERPROOF security of this case with the Jambox. Plenty loud, even at the beach! Thanks guys, great product!

There is rattle that sometimes sounds like a speaker is blown. It is definitely rugged and quality made. I will keep for the protective value but the sound from inside is less than desirable. If not for the rugged and water proof benefits I would have given it a 1 star. If there was no bass rattle I would have given a 5 star.

Maybe not as roomy as depicted, in terms of space for stuff besides the Jawbone, but otherwise good protection and a clever design. Sounds come out pretty much the same in or out of the case.

This is simply "THE BEST" accessory for your Jawbone Jambox Big if you're an outdoorsy type. Used the case to protect my Jambox on a trip to the Bahamas, and another trip to Florida. Worked flawlessly for both trips. I liked that the Jambox was also protected inside my carry on luggage... although one TSA agent was curious about what was inside the case. Some people have reported issues with distortion when the speaker is played loudly, but I have had zero issues to that effect. Another benefit, my 1 year old likes to carry the speaker around, and the case keeps it safe from him as well. ;)
