Works for what I need, but don’t expect to be able to do more than surf the insecurely surf the web.
I ordered 2 of these for my kids as they needed laptops while out of school due to the Coronavirus pandemic. When both arrived I wasn’t expecting much but I was completely disappointed in the overall quality of the product. For the purposes of explaining my review, I have a degree in IT and have been in the industry for 10 years.Below are issues that I ran into:The initial setup was as expected for a fresh Windows 10 install. The two laptops only have 32 GB of storage (which I was aware of) however the bloatware on the systems has 26-28 GB already used up which leaves little room for anything else.I first ran into issues when doing Windows Updates and it didn’t have enough available space to install the latest build of Windows 10 (this is important because Microsoft will stop supporting earlier builds and only release future patches for the later builds). This means that anyone getting these will never be as secure with their updates as those with standard laptops/desktops.After that I ran into issues downloading Chrome (necessary as my kids use google meet and classroom for their online learning) due to the Windows 10 Home edition these are shipped in being setup in S mode. S mode by default locks the laptop so you cannot install any application that isn’t directly approved in the Microsoft store (Google Chrome is not).To get out of this I had to update the Microsoft store which prompted all other apps to update. Afterwards I could take these out of S Mode so they would be the standard Home edition and could install chrome.I had to go through and remove any bloatware that I could to free up disk space, this only freed up about 4 GB however which was still not enough to complete the Windows 10 build update.I noticed as well that with the fast boot enabled (this is on by default in Windows 10 and should almost certainly be turned off 100% of the time) that the CPU power up time (which doesn’t shut down under this setting) the laptops registered an uptime of more than 550 days. This means that these are actually 2 year old laptops, so keep that in mind. All in all this took me about 2 hours to complete, and it’s stuff that most buyers would not be aware of.If you are in the market for a cheap laptop, there are much better options. While this can work for my needs, I don’t think I’ll ever look at this brand again.

good typewriter
i picked this up as a laptop i could take to starbucks and not worry if i left it on the table and someone absconded with it because it has no personal data on it. it works for that purpose. although the review the other reviewer mentioned about the power button being right next to the delete key is a real problem. i have a macbook, if your finger clips the power button on that nothing happens. but when you clip it on that little laptop you are going to spend a about a full minute trying to log back on.the laptop struggles for most other purposes. i tried watching netflix on it and that was a little too much for this laptop. even one single tab open of a normal webpage will be a little bit on the slow side. for $130 its not bad, but i would not pay more for it than that.

Good budget laptop for most applications
Ordered this laptop one night when I was feeling frivolous as the specs looked pretty decent. Got buyers remorse the next morning as I was feeling like it probably wouldn't really function like a non 'budget' computer with the same specs, and tried to cancel. Unable to cancel. Came very quickly and I tried it out. Was able to get it out of Windows S mode pretty easily (and into full Windows 10), and was pleasantly surprised at the functionality. Obviously not expecting it to run graphic intense games, but it does hold up with some heavier processing programs that I use. Im sure its not designed to take much abuse, but actually feels pretty sturdy. Battery life has been good so far. Not upset about this purchase at all, would definitely recommend. It does boast a webcam, however it might as well be without as its terrible quality. That's the only real quality issue Ive noticed so far.

OS is for kids
I like that it's thin and light, seems fast and easy to do basic web browsing.I don't like that it comes with a very restricted version of Windows 10 that won't allow you to install anything that doesn't come from the Windows Store.I am a retired IT professional and it took me over 3 hours to get it upgraded to Windows Home Edition. We bought it for a client to run a single program and she was thrilled with it. If I knew how much work I would have to do to make it run the program I would have charged her another $100 over cost. Still a great deal for her.

A decent little machine for the cost
Not just for web-surfing. It can be used productively. It gets along well with MS Office apps. The keyboard is better than expected. Good, crisp screen. If you are a cloud-oriented individual, it will do okay. However, Windows and primary apps take up 2/3 of the 32 gig storage. You will need a Micro-SD card for additional apps and storage should you want much more than web-surfing. It will slow down when you open too much stuff at the same time.Since I do a good bit of writing on an Android tablet, I feel right at home with this laptop/tablet. Don't expect it to do all your main machine does, but it's a good secondary.

Headache
I bought this for my son to replace an older laptop with broken keys. And this was so slow that he preferred the broken one. It didn’t come With much space and I’d you try to factory reset it, its impossible. There isn’t enough usable space on the thing to reset it even after you uninstall the factory apps. This was a headache so it got returned.

Great after a lengthy setup
For the price, this computer is great... as long as you have the patience and understanding to open many of the doors Microsoft closes in order to keep you “safe”. I’m not agoraphobic about stepping outside the tiny space Microsoft set aside, and it took a good few hours of undoing “safety” features and restarting and opening up the computer to its full potential. Now I have this computer and a gmail account/drive through chrome, and everything runs perfectly.
