the unit I got continually gave the wrong readings as compared to two other digital thermometers and a hospital forehead scanner. This unit may be good for use on babies but did not meet my expeditions of easy to use for an adult.Pros: Very nice easy to hold shape Nice carrying bag Big easy to read digital display Removable nose cover to convert to ear readingCon: Continually read as much as 2* high as compared to other devices Manual had procedure for correction of temp in + direction but no way to correct in - direction Took 3 to 5 readings to get any two to match Had to be held at the exact angle to read temp and not get a error reading on screen Manual indicated a number of reason for incorrect error readings including room to hot, holding device to long, body not in same space as temp scanner for 30 min., forehead not clean and more.

At first, I thought this thermometer was appropriate. However, it gives inaccurate readings. I don't recommend it because I found that my students had a hard time understanding how to use this infrared thermometer. Also, it changes from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and I have know clue as to how to switch it back (loss the instructions). However, its affordable and cheap for a quick use. If your planning long-term use, I wouldn't depend on this type of thermometer. On the plus side, it has a memory!

This was supposed to have batteries come with it, even includes them in the list of what comes with the thermometer in its handbook. But NO batteries. The cap is difficult to get off if you want to use the ear probe. As far as taking the temp, it’s not very consistent. It’s a good size and lightweight and has its in pouch for storage which is good. I will keep it for now but wouldn’t buy it again.

It feels really cheap and lightweight and I’m used to the heavy duty super accurate ones that are used in the hospital but so far it’s held up and does Its job but it worries me sometimes that’s it’s inaccurate.

This tool is great when it comes to a fussy, squirmy baby. Our son was not feeling well, going through the early stages of growth spurt/teething so the last thing he wanted to do was sit still for us to take his temperature. This was able to give us an accurate reading and give us peace of mind that he wasn't running a fever to go along with his teething pains.

This came at the same time my baby got sick. Usually checking a baby's temperature is a, um, rather uncomfortable experience to get the most accurate reading. This was easy to use and I could check him whenever I wanted, even when he was sleeping!It was fast, mess free, and my over tired mind didn't have to remember if his fever was going up or down because I could check the memory. I would totally suggest this to all moms.

Easy to use. Easy to read. Carrying case makes for easy storage. Dual method usage is convenient for taking an accurate temp when Skin has been exposed to elements.

Fabulous gift for new mothers. So much easier to take a child's temperature. I don't know how we did it before this technology. Good quality. Easy read.
