Oh. My. Gosh. This thing is fantastic. There is absolutely no need to buy one of those expensive Furminator tools. This thing takes out gobs and gobs of cat hair. My cat has very fine hair and regular brushing was almost pointless because I couldn't even get the hair to stick in the brush. One swipe with this tool took out more hair than an entire session of brushing the regular way. Beware, it's addicting though, lol. Once you start, you'll never want to stop because it's so satisfying--and your cat may end up bald. ;-D

works well

I bought this for my 3 year old Australian Shepherd, who is an indoor dog and lately her shedding has become very excessive. I've tried everything else I could think of including different oils in her food and she eats only the best holistic grain free food. I looked at the other brands but couldn't bring myself to spend $50+ so I decided to give this one a try since it was more in my budget range. It works great, but let me tell you it took furever! (See what I did there) my only complaint is on my own fault I brushed her back legs (where her shedding is the worst) for too long and it scrapped her skin some, so I fault myself for this. Just know before you give this a try, the first time only do it a little, give it a few days and do it again to get the rest of the undercoat so you don't damage the skin like I did. Will definitely recommend to other animal owners.

This product worked great the first time I used it on my dog but the plastic top broke the second use. I definitely would not purchase again.

Doesn't work well

Removes so much fur. I have a gsd, a breed known for shedding. This really helps to keep the massive amount of shedding at bay. This comb is made with high quality materials, not cheap or flimsy. I have had mine for a long time ( over a year) and use two or three times a week, it still works great, the price is excellent compared to what you pay in the pet store.

This a is a decent product, but I noticed two problems with it: it sometimes snags in my cat's coat (ouch) and the comb sometimes falls out of the clip on the handle. It does, however, get a good amount of loose fur and dander.

I have a corgi mix who sheds quite a bit. This tool has been wonderful at getting into her undercoat and reducing how much she sheds. I try to use it every other day and the amount it takes off is decreasing so I know it's working. I was simply amazed at how much fur went into the trash the first two times I used it. It beats all the brushes I have bought in the past.
