FurGoPet Deshedding Tool for Cats

This tool is amazing! It really cuts down on shedding and makes my cat's coat feel nice and soft. My cat has short hair, and it was shocking to see how much fur came off the first few times I used it! My cat likes this tool much better than his old brush, which would sometimes pull his fur. He will happily put up with it for as long as I will comb him, and he'll head-bump me for more if I stop too soon. I use this tool on him about once a month, or whenever I notice loose fur coming off on my hands when I pet him. It seems like combing more often than that might lead to taking off too much fur, but I'm not really sure if that could be a problem or not.I also thought I would mention that I took a small risk and bought the small dog sized tool for my cat, because at the time I bought it, the small dog version was cheaper than the cat one. I was worried that the dog tool might be too big or something and I'd have to return it, but it is actually the perfect size. So that's something to keep in mind if you'd like to save a bit of money (though at the time of this review, the cat one is cheaper than the small dog one). It works very well and seems like it was built to last a long time. I definitely recommend this product!

This brush is AMAZING! I was recommend the more professional brand that my groomer uses but I didn’t want to pay $30+ for a brush. I found this one and it is unbelievably amazing! Though I learned something. Be sure not to go over the same spot on your cat multiple times or you can hurt their skin. So give a day or two between brushes and only brush for about 5 minutes at a time. I love this brush and my cat looks TOTALLY different!

I brought this brush to groom my bunnies with I’ve broughten numerous of different brushes even the hair buster and it didn’t remover nearly as much as this brush did! I own four bunnies of different length of fur. I own a Rex. A holland lop. A Cinnamon and a checkered giant. And this brush worked amazingly I got so much fur off I thought it would never stop coming off but my bunnies are so soft and not shedding nearly as bad as before this brush helped tremendously with there molt and didn’t “shave” the hair or leave bald spots it only removed the loose fur and didn’t yank and pull on there fragile skin neither! I looked at furminaters (If I spelt that right) and they ranged $25-60 and this brush was only $14!! Best within price by far get it if you have bunnies you’ll love it!

Purchased this as an adjunct to a slicker brush that works well for the guard hair on my medium-hair kitty, but doesn't touch the base hair. Works great for removing it, & it easily pull it off the tines.

I have two very big cats, one has really long hair, and the second has medium/long hair (tuxedo cat in picture). My poor tuxedo kitty has thick dense fur and he gets hairballs quite a bit and it is hard to get combs through his undercoat. I started on my tuxedo cat and it ran through his fur like BUTTER!!! It brushed out the undercoat lickety split! Thick dense patches were easily combed out and my cat actually enjoyed it! I have tried ordinary combs and metal undercoat combs that just tugged on his fur and he'd run and avoid me. Not with this brush! My cat actually let me groom his neck and belly too! Fur was going everywhere. Once I was done, his coat was silky, smooth, and much lighter! I posted a picture of him next to the brush and his fur just from his brushing today (just got it in the mail today from amazon). I just began brushing my long haired gray kitty (as you can see a couple clumps of light gray next his dark fur pile). She was much more tolerable to this brush than many others but she also has painful mats I am in the process of removing as well. Once all her mats are snipped out, this brush will be amazing to keep her mat-free and help with shedding. AMAZING PRODUCT!!! WOULD BUY AGAIN!!!

I had been considering buying a Furminator for my cat for quite a while but couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a brush. Well with his summer shed in full effect I went looking again and found this. With such good reviews and for half the price of the Furminator I went for it. I am so glad I did! I got more hair off him in one day than I have in a week of normal brushing. He is a big fan of it too! As long as I go in slow short strokes. That is my advice, short stokes and go slow in thicker areas to avoid pulling fur and annoying your cat. He is so much softer and smoother after using it and I'm sure he's happy to have gotten rid of all that undercoat in this heat. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to reduce their cat's shedding.

Within 20 minutes of combing our dog with this deshedder, she looked 1,000 times better and I had a guinuea pig size ball of undercoat fur in my hands, I thought other products were picking up.I highly recommend this item for anyone with a shedding dog however, because it works so well, after you fully get out the shedding undercoat, you still need to use less "aggressive" combs and brushes for daily maintenance and general overall appearance/styling. That's how effective this item is. I didn't notice anywhere close to the same amount of undercoat come back for 1-2 weeks, but our dog has very long hair that needs to brushed everyday.So awesome, need tool but don't throw out your softer brushes if your dog has "morning hair", either, because this is not a daily use comb, though I can't imagine going back to grooming w/o this superb product!Very economical, easy to use and dog friendly grooming must-have!Partial Instructions: Remove matts first and do not use on wet fur or on irritated skin. Comes with more detailed safety instructions, plastic blade protector and has easy grip right or left-handed handle.

This deshedding tool works really well on my long-haired Ragdoll cat. It has made a huge difference on her coat. I highly recommend this tool.

Amazing product for all types of cat hair. My only issue is that the hair flies absolutely everywhere due to such a small comb space. You will need a vacuum!
