Wool Ruana Kerry Woollen Mills Burgundy Made in Ireland

I loved my first wool ruana so much that I ordered another. The colors are beautiful, the lambs wool is soft and snuggly warm. The ruanas have brought many compliments from both friends and strangers alike.

I planned to buy two colors but decided to try just one to see how durable it will be before investing in a second. I love the looser weave because it is the perfect weight and warmth for me, but I’m worried about picking a strand. The boucle texture and color (burgundy) is lovely. It is plenty warm for me in the office or curled up on the sofa. It will be a wonderful outer garment for fall and spring in New England. If I lived somewhere warmer I would use it as a wrap all winter!

I bought this last summer and had not had a chance to really experience how wonderfully cozy this ruana is! However, this last winter I would put it on in the morning and not take it off until I went to bed! My house is kinda drafty and chilly in the winter so it would come in handy when it actually gets cold in Texas!

color was darker than expected, but still a lovely shawl. I am 5'6" and it's longer than expected. and shaped a bit like a cape, with a back and front with points that dangle. the wool is light, not scratchy and yet warm when you need it to be. perfect for sitting out on a deck in late summer and fall. Great for walks - just be aware this shawl is long - and you can wrap it around in various ways, but it is not a square or a rectangular shape - it is pieced to be worn as a longer shoulder wrap. Good value for the $; price here is almost $50 less than on other sites and shipping is free with Prime.

This ruana is made of soft wool, it is so lightweight but extremely warm, and cozy. The color is gorgeous, a mix of red, purple, blue, pink, gray....... It looks stunning. It is a luxury to be that cozy and warm while looking so fashionable.
