Not recommended this product makes the baby's chin almost touch the chest which mathkes it harder for the baby to breathe.. Seller was quick to respond requesting ideas to improve product.

I was very excited to order this, I’m terrified of S.I.D.S so I thought this would help my little one sleep safely. How ever with 2 weeks of using it, I learned this is actually very Dangerous! I have the Owlet sock and found my daughters oxygen levels were very low when she slept in the hammock. It set the alarm enough times for me to stop using it and go back to swaddling and sleeping in the crib.Notice in the advertising photos the baby’s head is chin to Chest. This is the same position that causes S.I.D.S. I’m lucky to have the monitoring sock or I would not have caught this. It could just be my experience, my daughter was born early so maybe that’s a reason. But Better sleep is not worth losing your littles! Hope there is more testing done for this product.This hammock would be good for Naps with constant monitoring.Update: This company was very understanding and professional about my experience with the hammock and refunded me. I believe the hammock might work better for others given the circumstances with my daughter.I would also like to add. It was very well made, straps are very strong, nice soft fabric and a sturdy breathable mesh for baby.
