This is particularly useful for measuring knee, hip and shoulder ROM where being able to line the arms up with the long body segments helps tremendously. It is stiff which holds its place and allows you bring it up to your face to read the measurement. Be careful not to bend the telescoping arms.

if you want to really fit you to your bike. This is one of the tool you need. You can get teh measurement otherways, but, I found that method not to be as acccurate. This makes it simple and accurate!

Works as advertised. I have no idea why these things are so stupidly expensive. 3 stars is a result of it costing more than $20.

This is a useful tool for the patient with long extremities in comparison to the average goniometer. I would like to see the product improved in that the bubble window is not quite centered over the numbers, making it difficult to get your eye to where the print is clear. I often have to kneel way down and look up at the window before I can capture the reading.

The telescoping arms take ALL the guesswork out of positioning the tool correctly. You won't miss the exact location on the ankle or hip or shoulder!
