Yes, they are a bit more expensive. But, they save water and last forever. I believe in the quality of Hunter products and stand by them at all times.

Maybe it's not fair to rate an identical replacement product by the failure rate of the same part it is replacing. But I have had these Hunter nozzles in my yard for years, and after a while a high percentage of them stop rotating, or worse, they don't fully deploy and create a short-distance plume rather than a spider spray. So, I keep coming back and buying more. Like an addict. There are other rotator nozzles on the market, now, so consider some other brand.

Bought these since my originals were popping off like candy. So far I've used 2 and they are working well. Easy to swap out. Unscrew the head and replace the nozzle.

A of my sprinkler heads stop rotating after 4 years of use. These were an exact replacement for the factory ones and work amazing. Initially two of these replacements did not rotate, but the Amazon Seller was willing to send me replacement heads.

There are watering restrictions where I live. I have to water on a certain day and within certain hours. Some days it would be very windy on my watering day. I used to watch the wind take the water and put it somewhere other than where it was intended. These heads don't totally eliminate that problem, but they deliver the spray much closer to the ground and are thus much less subject to wind dispersion. They also deliver the water more evenly. I'm now spending less money and have greener grass. However, I have to water a bit longer to deliver the same amount of water to each zone. BOTTOM LINE: No regrets. Highly recommended!
