Update: 5 months in and it's still like brand new. No pilling, no flattening, just as plump and soft as the day it arrived.I haven't owned a body pillow in years but as my middle age body grinds itself to dust, the necessity of mitigating the affects of Old Age became apparent and I found myself diving into the deep body pillow ocean searching for my salvation.I quickly found that many body pillows use shredded memory foam as fill; having owned several bed pillow with shredded memory foam, these models were quickly relegated to the "someone else's mistake" list. After some poking, I found this one with just regular stuffing. Even better, if I want more support, I can ADD MORE! Woo hoo! As it is, this had the perfect amount of stuffing and the length and heft is perfect. I'm between 5'5 and 5'6 and this is more than adequate to support my legs and upper body.Very happy with the purchase and I also bought the companion cover, made out of jersey cotton (think t-shirt material) and it's delightfully soft and smooth. I'll have to wait to see if it pills, I hope not because it's very soft to snuggle with.

Not flimsy. Super puffy and will support your weight. This pillow just feels rich! No funny smell out of the bag and the best part, the included cover is washable!

After a month sleeping on a sofa, I realized I rather liked having some additional support since I am a side sleeper. I found lying up against the back of the sofa to be incredibly comfortible and i just felt better when I woke up. So a light bulb went off in my head when it was time to move into my new room, and back onto a regular bed... maybe I could get that same comfort from a body pillow that's almost as long as I am tall. Well, it didn't quite turn out that way, but this isn't a bad pillow.When I unpacked this thing, the flat, shapeless nature of the pillow wasn't surprising for something that had been vacuum packaged. So I followed the instructions and allowed it to expand for forty-eight hours. And expand it did! It got very cloud like... which is the reason I took away a star. The description says this is a firm pillow. Firm is definitely not the word I would use. Fat, sure. Fluffy, definitely. But firm? I think not.I can't really lay up against it, because it has too much give. To give you a different perspective, if I lay my head on it, my head sinks like it's in quicksand. So definitely not the kind of feel I was hoping for. I had thought of trying to find some extra fill for it, or even a different material, but I'm not sure what to look for. I was hoping for those weird, foam marshmallows that newer pillows seem to be filled with these days. You can work them into just about any shape. But this is more like the fluff that comes out of a stuffed animal... just not as dense. So from that aspect, I'm disappointed.Now, on to what I do like about this pillow... It is nice and long! Not as long as the back of a sofa, mind you. But it is fifty-four inches long, and I am five feet four inches tall. So I'm only ten inches bigger than this thing. That's a lot of snuggle power for a pillow.Additionally--and maybe more importantly, this thing is cool. I don't mean like awesome cool. I mean if I'm feeling hot, this thing will cool me down. I kind of snuggle it like a giant stuffed animal, and i'm more comfortable in a matter of minutes. I sleep hot, and when I'm too hot, I can't sleep. So this is a huge benefit for me. Also, I have found that propping my arm and my knee up on it while it's in front of me really takes a lot of pressure off of places I didn't realize were feeling pressure. So I wake up with less stiffness.I also like that the stuff inside is removable, replaceable, and sort of adjustable... maybe I'll find the right filling to add to it. But until then, I'll just enjoy my cooling, pressure-relieving, giant, snuggle pillow. If these are the things you're looking for, awesome! but the firmness... or lack thereof, was a disappointment. I'm glad I still have other uses for it, though.

I’ve had this body pillow for 3 years and it’s finally broken into the most comfortable perfect hard soft ratio. 3 years!! This bad boy helped me survive painful pregnant nights and helps me with my back pain by providing comfort and support. 10/10 would recommend! Insane it’s lasted me so long without going flat, it’s still sturdy!

What a remarkably disguised dream in a box!My dream pillow arrived in a vacuum sealed bag which quickly sprang to life once it met with air. The fabric is beautiful and the firmness exceptional. Like the Goldilocks bears, it was just right. Price is on point and your comfort is number one…go get ya one!

I love this body pillow but it's definitely an adjustment the first few nights. It puffed up quick didn't take a couple days more like an hour or two. It's super thick and retains its form perfectly. Worth the money.
