Fog Free Shower/Travel Safety Mirror

Anyone who likes to shower and then shave knows that it adds time to your routine. If you live in cold places where the mirror defogs during winter, the wait is even longer. How about a mirror that allows you to shave and shower at the same time? And is also practically fog free.I found this mirror and it is practically a life saver, I save so much time as I shave while taking a shower. This mirror is extremely light, hangs around the shower head and almost hard to break. It does have edges which could be dangerous if this ever falls on your toe. The mirror is almost- fog free, it does get foggy but then you have to simply wipe the fog with either your hand or hold it under the shower. I have not traveled with this mirror but I figure it would be easy to carry it in a suitcase without the risk of breakage. The price and the quality can't be beat, as well as the pleasure of in shower shaving. Five stars. 11/15/2012

I bought this item back in January and it's been working well 10 months later. I initially bought this because of the hook - I lived in an apartment where suction cups wouldn't stick well on the bathtub walls - and I was looking for something fairly cheap. Provided that you follow the instructions (run hot water through the front and back of the mirror for 3 seconds) then it works just fine. After awhile, it could fog up again but that's to be expected - just run the water through and it's back to working well. I haven't tried traveling with it but it's very lightweight and seems fairly sturdy given that I've dropped it a few times. If you're looking for a relatively cheap option then this might work well for you too.Update, 12/11/12Thought I'd give a quick update on things. I've dropped this mirror a countless number of times and it's not chipped or broken. I've tossed the mirror in my belonging for several moves and have taken it for a few trips with no problem.

I am happy with this shower/travel mirror. It does the job well without any worries of breaking/cracking. The built in hanger works well over my shower head and when not in use, also hangs nicely on our shower rod tucked out of the way. Light weight, nice size, compact enough to pack in a suitcase if needed, or for kids to use, but big enough for adult use as well. It is not fog free, but just stick it under the water and you'll have fog free use for a bit. BE SURE TO PEEL THE PROTECTIVE FILM OFF THE MIRROR BEFORE USE! Once the film is peeled off, the mirror is nice and clear. The hole for the razor works surprisingly well.

This is definitely not a fog-free mirror. It fogs instantly when my husband gets in the shower to use it. He has to take a towel into the shower to wipe the mirror off, and then he has to shave with the shower doors open to prevent the mirror from re-fogging. My husband likes the size of this mirror, but it is clearly not an anti-fog or fog-free mirror. Would not recommend.

She was pretty nice while it lasted, maybe a year at most, then it eventually became cloudy and wasn't as reflective as I would have liked or as it originally was. I dropped it once and it broke off the hook end leaving a sharp corner. I wasn't too concerned as it wasn't glass and since I never had a great place to hook it in our shower. So I just kept leaning it against the wall of a built-in shelf in the shower until one day it fell from there, right onto my foot, leaving me with a nice deep puncture wound from which blood spurted like a geyser. I hold no ill will against the mirror as it was my own fault and continue to use it to this day, although I did just secretly order new, smaller, fog free mirror and will throw this one to the curb, but let's just keep that between you and me.

As someone who travels 90% of the time, and shaves their head, this product is great. I've had to resort to shaving in front of hotel mirrors instead of using my "home" routine of shaving in the shower. This product fixed that.It fits in my luggage nicely. Very durable, so far hasn't broken or scratch. I just toss it in with my shirts and slacks - no sharp edges on the mirror, so it hasn't damaged my clothes.It hangs on all the shower heads I've used so far. You can slide the "hook" down the shower head too in order to help get the best angle for use (tilts the mirror forward and back, but there is no "up" range past perpendicular to eyesight).It fogs up some, but a quick splash of water fixes it for a few minutes.Great product, happy to be able to shave in the shower even when I travel now.Update:Been using this for quite some time now. Nothing has really changed from the original review. It doesn't have the fog-free effect like my home mirror, but a quick rinse in a hotel shower fixes the fog issue for a couple minutes. I've become adept to finding the perfect spot on hotel shower heads to hang the mirror from to give a good reflection angle. I think I've only been to one hotel where the shower head wasn't able to hold the mirror at a good enough angle to use. I'm purchasing a second one now. The original didn't break. I loaded it in my luggage for a trip, and unfortunately the TSA left a "searched" message in my luggage and the mirror was gone. Not sure why they would have removed it ( I know it was in the luggage ), but it's cheap enough and worthy enough to purchase another.

Just received this item. I won't be using it in the shower -- just wanted to hang it when needed then put away, in my RV. So, I can't attest at this time to how resistant it might be to fog or shattering. However, when I received was not exactly as pictured.There is 1/4 inch deep and 3/4 inch long notch cut out along the right lower edge as it hangs. I don't see this as a problem or that it interferes with the function. It's just I wonder why the photo and what I received was not identical. In today's media market, it is not hard to post a correct photo or show variations of a product.
