Bought these to hang near a large headboard. Had to support them with the headboard or they fall over. Replacing now. Don’t waste your money.

I actually installed this light myself. It arrived with some assembly required and minimal instructions, however, it was pretty straight forward as far as how to connect the plug-in (I used mine as a hard wire) to the wires in the main component. The only part I wasn't 100% on was how to use the pieces that connect the lighting to the wall, but I just googled "how to install a wall sconce" and I found a Youtube how to with a similar set-up. I would say that I am a beginner when it comes to home projects and on a scale of 1-10 (10 being proficient) in regards to electrical work, I would rate myself as a ZERO. I purchased some wire wall cover -which I still have to paint -and voila!

My husband (who isn’t an electrician) installed these, and they look great! I like that the articulating arm not only allows adjustment on the arm, but also side to side at the base. They’ve only been up for a few days, but they seem great so far!

Purchased this set of lights as an "open box" deal from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $75.60 instead of the current regular price and couldn't be more pleased. We hardwired one to replace an ugly, outdated sconce and the other was installed as a plug in. Both installs were easy. The finish on the lamps is nice; not a super shiny black, more of a matte black or satin black and the accents are similar to an antique brass finish perhaps. (???) Nice and classy looking.

We installed it today over our bed to use as a reading lamp. Installation was easy. Love the adjustability. The height and depth adjustments have the wingnuts(?) that have to be loosened to adjust, which is perfect. Means it will not come out of adjustment inadvertently and hit someone in the head. The left-to-right motion is kind a loose, free movement, which is also good. Can easily move it to lay against the wall, out of the way when not in use, without having to turn any nuts. We installed Philips Hue bulb and will try it out for reading tonight. So far, hubby and I both really like the lamp.

There have been numerous comments on the lack of instructions for conversion to a plug-in style wall lamp. This may have been corrected since then. I found the directions to be sparse but understandable. And the wall plug was included. The only thing I would add is that the threaded screws that go through the wall plate need to be longer to accommodate the plug-in option. The screws included were either too short or too long and I ended up cutting the longer ones to allow the lamp to be flush with the wall and yet extend just enough for the caps to be screwed on without sticking way out from the bronze base.

These sconces look wonderful and definitely add a nice touch to my bedroom - now that I have them set up. The instructions are very confusing and they do not include much information. We got it figured out eventually but it would have been a much smoother process if they’d included better directions. Now that they’re installed, I really love them.

I love these lights. I ordered two and one of the lights had a broken part, the seller immediately sent out a new one. I'm very impressed with their customer service!
