STEM Starters for Kids Geology Activity Book: Packed with Activities and Geology Facts

It is a lovely book but it is way too easy for 7 years old girl or boy. I wished it would have been more challenging.

would have benefitted from a geological map of the continents...but ok for a starter book...

Good to use as an outline guide but taught from an athesistic viewpoint so does not take into evidence of the flood!

I purchased this book for my niece for Christmas as she had recently gotten extremely interested in geology (thank goodness the slime phase was over!) and her face lit up brighter than the Christmas tree when she opened it! My sister sent me a photo about 10mins after they arrived home that day...she had already set herself up at her desk, notebook and all, to read through it and start her own explorations and experiments!

Looks like it will be fun to read

This is very good for a primary aged child. Activities are explained simply and very good basic information on geology and related topics.

I thought this book would be helpful for teaching, it is not. It is more like a picture book and really doesn’t do anything to help at all.

This is a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She’s really into rocks. Looking through this book, it’s going to be perfect for her!
