I really liked everything about this slicer, until mushrooms broke it... I never had difficulty using egg slicers for mushrooms before, but the wires broke when putting in mushrooms. Probably would be great just for eggs...

I was looking for sturdiness and was not disappointed

Great slicer, wires are well tensioned and works well, only complaint was the promotional phones give the impression they are installed with screws that they could be changed to tightened later but are actually riveted.

This review is after 2 years of occasional use mostly for mushrooms and strawberries. This cutting wires have disconnected and the unit is useless. I am now looking for a different brand. I would put it in the dishwasher, or even try to hand clean it, but small pieces of food would remain imbedded in it. Actually, the cutting wires always did struggle to slice through.

Cuts 2 ways. Annoying to clean, but works great. Pretty sure I'll never have to buy another egg slicer in my lifetime.

This works well. Should come with another grid at a 90 deg. angle so the egg can be diced.The quarter wires should be doubled to make it 8 wedges.

Solid feel sure beats those plastic versions.This is a stocking stuffer for my 9 yr old granddaughter (a hard boiled egg fanatic) so it hasn't been used yet.

During this lockdown I have tried to stock up on foods that provide all-round goodness, this included PICKLED EGGS, as it was hard at times to buy them, and they provide a good source of protein.This egg slicer is brilliant! You simply lift up the slicer you would like to use (thin slices or triangle slices) place your egg in and pull the wire down.Works well, quite easy to clean and very sturdy. I like it!

Very well made, and cuts the eggs and other things a I have used it to cut, far superior to other ones I have used

I have only used this for slicing eggs and it does this well. My only criticism is that it could have had some rubber on the base which would have stopped it moving around on the work surface quite so easily.

Perfect does what it says and like that it gives you different cutting choices.
