REK GEN Mud Flaps 2015+ Compatible with Subaru WRX/STI - Mounting Hardware & Instructions Included (Grey Logo)

This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made the instructions are terrible . Enjoy ruining your cars paint job as the rear mud flap has a built in knife that slices the car to the unpainted plastic! it is lacking hardware screws . Push pins do not line up the l bracket will not install and there's no instructions on how to install it I was only able to use about 60% of the included screws and hardware 40% of it remains uninstalled and impossible to install I recommend taking this to a shop having them install it with different company mudflaps. I should have looked at the negative reviews. I can only install 3 of the 4 screws on the front flaps, no good instructions on how to install the L bracket to get the 4th screw in. The rear is held on with one screw and a pin and reciever. The pin will not go in all the way, so I just removed it. I'd send it back but the badley destroyed paint job needs something to cover it. I will use these til they fall off, then will have auto shop buy and install a better brand. Rally armor or something I think I heard was the best.

...If you're thinking of getting mud flaps for your 2015+ WRX/STI, get these. The Rekgens are stiff, the texture matches the front and rear plastic facias of my WRX perfectly and the lettering looks awesome against my red bodywork of my 2018 WRX. They're easy to install with simple hand tools. A couple tips. One, take your wheels and tires off. Just do it, you'll thank me that you did. The working extra room to work is well worth it. Two, watch the installation videos that are all over youtube. The instructions that came with Rekgens, as well as the online instructions aren't very clear. Less mechanically inclined folks could have trouble unless they have the online videos to refer to. The Rekgens look so good on my Pure Red 2018 that my son picked up a pair for his dark blue 2017 WRX. The Rekgen's lettering comes in several colors. The red and blue look awesome. There's no reason to spend extra on more expensive Rally Armor mud flaps unless the "Designer Label" is important to you...

I purchased the Rek Gen mud flaps for my 2018 Subaru WRX Premium because I love the way mud flaps look on rally cars, and that's why I bought them. But I also noticed that I had significant spray marks on my doors / rear quarter panels after driving in wet conditions. Not that the mud flaps are installed that's no longer a concern. They are very sturdy, even holding up after I entered a car wash with a propelling track. The corners of the mud flaps were bent out a little bit, but I corrected that by hand easily. The mounting hardware was not affected and kept the flaps firmly on the car. I won't make that mistake again, LOL. They were priced very well compared to similar products, and I was able to mount them without removing the tires. It was challenging, but it was not overly difficult. The plastic push in clips for the rear flaps were the most difficult part. I simply used handle of my screw driver to push them in by wedging it against the tire for leverage. Easy peasy after I figured that out. I would purchase these again with no hesitation.

This product gets 3 stars when small changes could be made to make it a 5 star product.One star removed due to instructions that are almost useless.One star removed due to hardware not fitting a '19 STI on the rear. Maybe it does fit but the directions are so poor I couldn't figure it out. Ended up throwing the bracket out and using a rivnut into the dual layer of fender liner. Holds much stronger and was a few dollars to fix.Overall they look great and are a great value, if Rek Gen wants to make a better impression they can start with new directions. Larger pictures, more pictures, better wording. Then they can get a '19 STI in to their warehouse and have someone who isn't an employee install the product. Document where they have troubles and where the pictures don't match reality.

Good quality product, looks great when finally installed. Arrived with no instructions. Instructions on their web site are outdated, for apparently an earlier version. Had to watch several youtube videos on Rokbloks instead, then sit and hold the part up to the car to figure out what goes where. The fronts were close to the old instructions, but the rear were completely different. Had to slide the riveted on bracket in between the fender and the liner, then attach the bottom bolt and the one large pushpin clip. Easy when you figure it out, but hard to see without taking off more stuff than you really needed to for the install.

Good product. I like the material which looks like carbon fiber. Installed it on my 2019 WRX and Installation was pretty easy. Overall happy with the outcome and look. Hardest part was to take of rear wheels because i have back problems. All hardware is included however no installation instructions. If you will be intsalling it on 2019 WRX make sure you use long screws underneath of rear bumper because the design of underwheel place is not the same as 2018 WRX. There are 2 holes underneath of bumper on each side of the car and you will need to use second one which is closer to the mufler to install that white squared screw holder or whatever the name of it. When you put the hardware in places it may not look like it is going to work but don't worry it will.

First, do yourself a favor and remove the wheels. The rear ones literally took 5 minutes to do - super easy. The fronts were kind of a pain. The plastic S clips would slide around and generally make it more difficult than a metal S clip would. My install went OK though I do have passenger side rubbing which I'll fix today. If I were to do it over I would get different clips from the hardware store.

pretty nice and is a cheaper alternative to Rokblokz & Rally Armor. front is easy to install. Rear is a bit difficult. Be sure to have a needle nose plier handy. you will need it. Included instructions are not the greatest. I would suggest searching for a Rokblokz installation video on YouTube as the screw sets are similar to RG's set.

Very pleased with the quality and look of these mudflaps! Installation was very straight forward, some clearer photos may help some people, but I had no issues. The rear is simple to install with the wheels off, fronts can be done with them on.Very happy with the product so far! Would definitely reccomend

This is definitely a good value for your money. There is a bit of a challenge installing the rear ones. I did see an installation video before so it made it easy.

I paid over $300 Canadian for these mud flaps from Amazon, took over three weeks for delivery and when the package was opened there was a invoice inside for a little over $100 USD. Very disappointed in mark up cost.The product itself was fine.

I wish i could give it ZERO STARS! The took 3 weeks longer than expected (paid for express shipping) and When it did show up. The metal brackets to install the Rear Flaps were missing. I ordered 2 set and non came with the brackets (see picture)
