I prefer the taste of the other popular brand here on Amazon. The other brand also has fewer chestnuts that appear to have started going bad prior to processing, at least in the patches I have purchased.

I've never eaten chestnuts before but I thought that I would try them because nuts are supposed to be good for you. I was very disappointed to find them to be mushy and wet. I thought that they would be crunchy and hard.. just my opinion but I wanted to let you know in case you have not tried them before. They were expensive so be aware

This brand of chestnut is dependably delicious and moist...great smothered in cocoa powder with a dash of Stevia :-)
