This is a very pale gold, almost a silver.I am deducting a star because it was advertised as "Gold", otherwise this is a good product.

I use my hands as I am a homemaker and I have no problem with chipping with this polish. Here is how I apply:1.) Thoroughly wash and dry hands2.) Apply a base coat. I use nailtek ridge filler as shown in the photo. Two coats. Allow to dry.3.) Apply two coats of step 1 gel polish.4.) Set timer and wait 5 minutes.5.) Apply step two top coat. I use sugar coat. As you can see in the final photo, it looks like sugar has been sprinkled on my wet nail polish.Sugar coat is not my preferred top coat but it's what I have.And now for my secret. Everyday for the next 3 days I will apply another coat of color and top coat top. This builds up the thickness of the polish protects my weak thin nails from breaking and gives it that salon like hardness.Also by doing it on separate days rather than all at once, each layer dries thoroughly.As for chipping: no nail polish will survive hands that are constantly wet. I'm not talking about hand washing. I'm talking about dishwashing and house cleaning. Wear gloves, or go get acrylics at the salon.

I bought the Step 1 colors Mauve-Olous and Shhhh-Immer, Step 2 Shiny Top coat. First of, let me review the colors of each. Color 244 Mauve-Olous is beautiful nude peachy pink. Color 174 Shhhh-Immer is NOT rose gold BUT a shimmery gold with pinkish tint on it. I still like it even if the color is not the same as advertised. The Step 2 shiny top coat is the black bottle on the photo I posted. I ordered the one that is in silver bottle but came in black bottle and I don’t know why.Now I want to talk about the quality. This Miracle Gel polish is advertised as 8 days Mani. I posted 8 days difference to help you judge it for yourself. But of course there are importants things to consider. I’m a full time house wife and a mom to a toddler which means I wash my hands frequently. Also, I am only careful to not accidentally scratch my son but never careful to not break or scratch my nails because I don’t ever want my nails to be hindrance to functioning quickly and properly. To cut it short, I’m pretty rough with my nails but this polish still manage to stay on and only have some chips after 8 days which is good enough for me. The only prep I did is wiping acetone (to remove previous polish) and alcohol on my nails. No buffing or basecoat.

Only applied this a few hours ago and so far I love it! The color isn't my fave personally- but it is true to the bottle. My mom mistakenly bought this color for her nails thinking it was 'regular' polish. When I told her it was gel and she would need a special top coat she decided she didn't want it, so I got to keep it:) I bought a bottle of top coat so I could test it out. Glad I did. I am not lying when I say that it took 20 min total to do my nails. (Removing previous polish with a strong acetone remover, Light filing, 2 coats color, 1 coat top coat)! As other reviewers stated, let each coat dry a couple minutes. I just did thin coats, which worked fine for this color (Game ofChromes). There was a little bit of gold polish residue on the top coat brush when I applied it. Not much, but I thought I should mention it. I don't see this being a huge problem as of yet. I just ordered a bunch of other colors to try and I can't wait to get them! I'm hoping this stays on for at least as long as regular polish. The quick dry time is totally worth it! Will update on how long and if it lasts!Update!!! The polish lasted wonderfully. I clean homes for a living, which requires a lot of scrubbing etc....and it lasted a week. (Thats great for me!) Honestly, my left hand looked like I didn't even touch it! It still looked great. But since I am right handed - my right hand needed a touch up. I easily could have just touched up the missing spots and it would have looked fine! But I was anxious to try a new color! The one I put on now its called sugar fix and its a light blue. I just applied it and it looks great! I'm going to see if I can add a photo of this new color to this review.

This polish seems thin. The color is as pictured. This color also seems to take a bit longer to dry than others. I like this brand of polish and have purchased it many times. It is not a color I use often for the reasons listed.
