I do my own grooming on my poodle and this blade is great. It is sharp, safe and does not get hot. I tried ceramic blades and they stink, I thought I would try ceramic blades and they suck. This blade cost a little more but it works fantastic. I like it so much I bought another (Same Brand) size one I wanted too.

I am so glad that I bought my Buttercut blades. I didn't want to spend the extra money on them, but now that I am using them, I have no regrets. They were sharp and ready to use. You'd think that you wouldn't have to worry about blades being sharp when they are brand new, but I have purchased other new clipper blades that weren't sharp, straight out of the packaging. I am now a loyal Buttercut customer.
