The piece is made from seasoned oak that will undoubtedly have marks of age and wear that gives character and creates a unique piece every time i.e. no two will be the same. Decorative steel corners add to the striking appearance. The Island can be hard wax oiled/ Danish oil/ or yacht varnish with a clear wax coating for a silky feel.
