Great price, great performance - though basic design
At the time this was likely the cheapest 660TI from a reputable vendor by quite a bit and not much more than the normal 660. Based on the reference design it is pretty basic, all clocks are default - nothing fancy. Enthusiasts may be better off paying 5-10% more for over-clocked versions with higher clocks and better coolers. However, this is pretty silent even under load and you can still use 3-rd party OC tools to push it further, but don't expect miracles. I prefer the "standard" cooler/design over some "better" solutions that actually end up being worse - more noisy/hotter - with minor increase in performance. For top-of-range games, 660TI looks to be the best performance/price ratio, with 670/680 a lot more expensive for less performance improvement and 660/650TI somewhat underpowered - especially if you game at higher than 1080p/multi-monitor.You can always buy another 660TI and SLI which, at this price, would be comparable to one 680 and way cheaper than a 690/Titan (!) for serious performance.Comparing this to AMD's 7800 series would be an article in itself ;) Personally I always found the NVidia drivers better, including games/3-rd party app support + CUDA.However you probably know the whole 600 series ("Kepler") does not do GPGPU very well - so no BitCoin mining, crypto, FP64 compute - though it is decent in FP32 performance. If you do want GPGPU then indeed AMD's 7800 is a much better bet. (or you can get an older 500 "Fermi" series).

Stop whining!
The card performed as well as I expected, I play on 1680x1080 and I can get nearly max settings on most modern games, although I will often tweak them down a little for a solid 60fps. There is plenty on info on the internet about performance so I wont go on about it.The card appears to be reasonably well made, the logo sticker on the top of the card I received looks a little cheap and nasty... if I'm forced to be picky. This is my second PNY 660 Ti, the first arrived with an awful clicking noise emanating from the fan, after some investigation I found a small piece of paper from inside the box had become wedged under the fan blades, luckily this didn't cause my card to overheat but wasn't east to remove. Ultimately I RMA'd it due to coil whine. The fan on my 2nd unit was a bit quieter than the first and had a smoother noise (post paper removal). Overall it hums along at a very acceptable level during light use but a bit too much noise for me to sleep with, even when under load its not too bad, you can crank the fan so high it literally sounds like a hair dryer but there is really no need to.The biggest annoyance I found with this card was coil whine, firstly I checked it was not coming from my mobo or PSU. The whine is only present when the frame rate maxes out in the thousands, the intro to Hitman Absolution being one example. I also tested it with some folding, the noise was loud and constant, far to irritating to stay in the same room as. In most situations I don't experience any coil whine and the card is stable, my second card whined a little quieter than the first so I'm going to settle for it.3/5 due to the loose paper they put in the box making its way into the fan and the coil whine. I's still recommend the card as long as you are not going to be folding.

Card OK - Cooling not OK
I bought this card in march 2013 because it was the cheapest GTX 660Ti available at that time. The graphics performance of the card is very good (as expected from a GTX660Ti), but it seems that the cooling solution was the cause of the bargain price. The cooler consists of a simple aluminium heatsink (no copper, no heatpipes) for the GPU, another alu heatsink for the VRM Chips and a noisy radial fan that blows the heat out of the card, all these hidden behind a black semi-elastic PVC cover. This is by far the shabbiest graphics card cooling solution I have seen in years. In addition, the noisy radial fan is changing its speed every few seconds, not only in games, but also on the Windows desktop, avoiding me to accustom myself to the noise. It's a torture to work under such conditions.I decided to make an end to the drama and ordered an Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo II cooling solution. Now the noise is gone, but also 30 more bucks and the warranty, because I had to remove some "warranty void if removed" stickers from the memory-chips to fix the heatsinks on them.I must agree that I'm a bit allergic to noise, and it's not the first time I changed the cooling solution on one of my graphics cards. Even older, at that time very expensive cards had very loud coolers, so the price of the card is not a guarantee to get a silent one. But it's the first time I had to remove warranty stickers from a graphics card to mount a better cooling solution on it.I give this card 3 Stars (One star is lost for the bad cooler and the other for the idiotic warranty sticker)

for the price it runs very well
The cost of the graphics card with the power input and Temperature output was is one of the main factors when I buy any PC cardswith this card my PC run cool and does not eat the wattage. One of the rules of thumb is the bigger the card the higher the power required to run it without the programmes falling over, So if you have a heavy wattage you need to buy a larger power unit at about £150 for the amps output. (2x40W) per card. the newer cards normally draw the power from the card slot so look at the card spec

Powerful for the price
I game on a single monitor, this combined with an I7 3770 @3.7GHZ and 12GB ram this smashes any game I have thrown at it (Crysis 1 and 2 included). For the price it is a great budget TI card but I would suggest other alternatives if you want to Dual screen as this may not be able to keep up with some of it's more powerful competitors.
