Great bag but NOT waterproof
At first glance a very good quality bag. The material feels strong and like it would be water resistant, but it is NOT WATERPROOF (as you would expect from a bag with regular zips). I placed pieces of paper inside every compartment and sprayed it all over with a shower for 5 minutes. Every piece was wet except one inside the zipped phone compartment, but I imagine with time this would become wet too. This isn't the end of the world as I have a bag cover but it's not as advertised so do watch out. Usually I would give a lower rating for this but the bag itself is actually very good quality apart from that. I will update if I ever get caught in actual rain with this bag.I've added pictures so you can see compartments and how much you could fit into the bag. My laptop is quite big at 15.6 inches but fits with room to spare. If you had a larger laptop than this, I'd imagine that the height of the bag would be fine but the width might be a tight fit. The laptop compartment measures 10.5in by 18in on my bag. The main compartment is slightly bigger, about 2in wider but no taller than the laptop compartment. The material feels and looks good and I expect this to last a long time. The arms are firm and provide lots of support when it's on your back - I have my heavy laptop in it but I can hardly feel this weight when it's on! The padding at the back is pretty good - stuck a bunch of things in the laptop pocket that lays against your back and couldn't feel them.In the main compartment there are a few pockets for phones, tablets etc. My OnePlus 5 and calculator fit in them fine. I initially thought that there was no place for a notebook but the section for tablets comfortably fits A4. Some of the pockets overlap with the notebook in so you couldn't put very chunky items in all of them at once, but then that's just for organisation. The middle compartment is pretty standard and I like having the mesh pocket for medicine. The other pockets in here fit passports, cards, and phones easily. The front pocket doesn't have anything else in it but is nice for things you want to grab quickly and adds some more space. The side pockets can be used for bottles or little things as they zip like the other compartments. They have an elastic strap in them which feels like it will keep bottles secure. I put a 750ml bottle in one for the picture - might not be wide enough for some big bottles without cramming them in. There is also a hidden pocket at the back, on the bottom. It's not very deep as it's mainly padding but could be used for money, cards, phones, etc.I'm 5ft3 and this bag is quite big on me but it still looks reasonable to take to uni everyday, and the space is worth it. In the pictures I've added a few things but it's nowhere near full yet. I think I could easily fit water, food, and some clothes or shopping on top of what's in it without it being stuffed.Overall a very good quality bag that I am happy with and recommend. Plenty of room for my laptop and anything else I need for the day and it won't break my back. Just a shame about the "waterproof" advertisement - showerproof at most, invest in a cheap cover for the bag and make sure you can cover the laptop compartment fully in rain.

Great backpack
This is a really good rucksack if you have to carry a lot of stuff. Slim, padded pocket for laptop right at back leaves more room for bulkier items in the main compartment. So many pockets to keep everything organised without having to dig around for what you need. Also, manages to still look slim and compact. It's slightly longer than some backpacks. Minor, minor criticism is that there are only single zips on the laptop compartment and side pockets. Also no ring to clip on keys - but overall, a very sturdy and practical bag for the price

Elegant and Practical Modern Student / Teacher bag
Great bag for students and teachers alike.Practicality? Solid padded hidden compartment for laptop. Plenty of pockets and compartments for pens, phone, mp3 player, battery chargers, folders, books and all I need for the day. It is even weatherproof. Has 2 side compartments with elasticated straps to hold drinks or keys etc. The bag is fairly light has breathable padding on your back and is very versatile.Looks? It looks stunning! Unusual dark coffee brown colour. Looks distinctive without being garish. It has slots to pop headphones through or possibly USB charger. I decided that the USB charger bags were a gimmick and this for me serves the same function.Durability? 2 weeks in looks solidly built. However I will do an update after a few months of heavy use. I use my bag every day, it takes a battering, but I am expecting at least 3 school years out of it.

Brilliant!
I have had this for a while now and use every day. I have used it in normal rain but not a heavy downpour as yet. I find it very spacious but yet well padded. I call it my portable office as I have everything in it including my laptop, various stationary, phones, wires, pens, umbrella, hat, scarf, gloves, drinks, snacks etc plus my handbag and all its contents. The backpack is lightweight but sometimes I fill it so much I can hardly lift it, however, it is so well padded that it never feels uncomfy. I would class this as a normal sized backpack I am a 5ft female and have no problems with it. I would definitely recommend.

Really excellent bag – good value, good quality, great for business commuter travel
I'm really impressed with this bag. It's 50% of the price of the expensive Swiss style ones and just as stout. It looks stylish- and has lots of different sized pockets for laptop, iPad, keys, pens, wallet... I especially like the fact that many of the pockets have zips in them- so makes things much more secure when travelling on the train et cetera. (There is even a supersecret pocket the back.) The build quality is great. if you're looking for a good business commuter bag this one I recommend.

This allowed me to pass easily through security
I needed a backpack for a trip to USA that would allow me to compartmentalise my electronics and camera. This allowed me to pass easily through security, even though I had to remove half the items, selecting them and replacing them was a breeze. Purpose built pockets allowed everything to be organised and easily found, rather than fumble around in an ordinary pack. I looked organised when normally i'm one of those that fumbles around before and after the checkpoint. Netbook, kindle, tablet, camera, Gear 360, assorted leads and connectors all stored nice and neatly, with room for a rain jacket in the main compartment. All the travel documents went into a pocket on the front thus making the whole journey simple, no "Bugger, wheres my booking slip". One of my best buys ever, thanks guys.
