KidKraft 115-Piece Deluxe Tasty Treats Pretend Play Food Set, Plastic Grocery and Pantry Items, Gift for Ages 3+

I was SO IMPRESSED when this set arrived!! I have three little girls, so I have bought MANY of these food sets. This is by far the BEST quality of one I have ever seen. I was worried the pieces would be small, but for the price it looked nice. When the box arrived I opened it - expecting the worst and instead was completely impressed. I have purchased sets like these before and they don't last long - they are thin plastic which ends up being pushed in (so you have flat oranges, flat bananas, etc) but this set is much thicker and very sturdy. I think it would be nearly impossible to push these flat, even if they are stepped on by an adult (which also happens...) That gets five stars from me already. I normally have to buy a new set every few months due to all of the pieces getting torn up, becoming flat, etc. This set is not going to do that. For the price to see it made of high quality material is fantastic. On top of that I figured, like with every play food set I have ever bought your going to get at least ten items that are flimsy cardboard, that will last a day tops - but is in every food set - this set has NO CARDBOARD pieces at all!! Can you believe it?! Even the box items that I thought in the picture were cardboard are nice hard sturdy plastic that has stickers of cereal, animal crackers, etc. The Milk cartons, etc are also made the same way - I could not believe it!!! I was also worried that the items would be small, which also happens a lot - they give you a bunch of items but they are tiny. Not these, the ketchup & mustard bottles are larger, just like in real life and each item has a nice size thats not too big for little hands but very realistic. The fries actually come out and can be placed into the fry container, all around just fantastic quality. I don't think I'm going to need to buy another food set again, seriously. Everything is so much more realistic then the cheap thin plastic sets as well, I am actually excited to go cook with them!! I can't recommend this set enough, for the price its amazing. If you are having the same issues I have had with food sets, give this a go - its a total win!!

We bought a play kitchen for our sons for Christmas and wanted to add play food. After looking around, we decided on these and I'm glad we did! Lots of plastic play food is thin and can be easily broken, bent or damaged. These are a thicker plastic and so far we haven't had any issues! I love how many pieces come in this set. Would recommend!

Perfect food set for my 3 year olds kitchen. She loves that it includes food she recognizes. The food looks realistic and is great quality. I love that I can easily wipe down the plastic to clean it or just spray it down with cleaner.

OWNED 6 MONTHS : Product arrived on time. Item arrives in a bag in a box. For the price, you get a great variety of play food and a lot of pieces! The colors are vibrant as shown in the photo. The plastic material is heavier than most other play food I have seen (and purchased). I like purchasing from companies I am familiar with because I can know what quality to expect and this purchase was no exception. As most young kids do with play food, some of the pieces have gone in mouths and have been bitten down on. I have so far had to throw away 3-4 pieces due to the plastic seams breaking (bananas - which has been the first to break with every play food set I've seen) or the plastic itself breaking due to being stepped on (water bottle). However I expect wear and tear with children and so it does not bother me. Also, most play food you will find is hollow on the inside so it just won't hold up over time the same as other toys will. I am happy with this purchase and will repurchase again if our play food gets down a significant amount from broken pieces.

***Note : my picture didn't include all the foods provided , my toddlers we're playing with some ****** My 2 toddlers (3yr,2yr) needed some new play food and after looking on Amazon I came across this set. Some reviews said they received another brand that was not Kidkraft as pictured. However, I received the displayed Kidkraft set. Before giving it to my kids I inspected it and everything seems fine. The plastic is somewhat thick and sturdy. However, there are a few foods in which the plastic is thinner and for more bendable like the corn, hot dog, eggs, and Burger Patty. But, for the most part the foods are sturdy. The colors are pretty much spot on in terms of matching real life foods and there is a wide variety of foods (diary,veg, meat,grain,desserts, and etc) . The bottle and box products (eg :mac n cheese,milk ) are made of plastic as well. There are no cardboard items in the entire set! This is a huge plus for those who have younger kids that will shred any paper like material in sight There was no harsh paint smell or items that were broken. I think they will do the job. They also don't look too cheap looking ! I took off one star for the few items (10%) that are thinner and more bendable . So far I think it was a great buy especially for the price and quantity!!

Great play food set! Tons of different foods. A lot of doubles. Some of the food is smallish but normal size for a set like this. Granddaughter loves it!

I ordered this box of various plastic food items for my son’s play kitchen. I was looking specifically for sturdy plastic food that would last rough play. This delivered to all my expectations! The food is well-made and highly detailed and very sturdy. We have already gotten a lot of play out of it, and I anticipate it will last for the entire entirety of the time he is interested in the play kitchen. I highly recommend this product.

Li abbiamo dati alla nostra bambina quando aveva circa 2 anni. Ora ne ha quasi tre ma non si stanca di giocarci, "cucina" in continuazione i suoi manicaretti e noi siamo gli assaggiatori di turno. La varietà di pezzi è notevole e i materiali sembrano proprio di buona qualità, dopo circa un anno di uso severo, come solo i bambini sanno fare, non perdono forma e coloritura, neanche nelle parti verniciate. Giusto un paio sono un po' ammaccati, ma è perché la bimba ci ha camminato sopra per sbaglio, niente di strano, quindi. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo è corretto perché sono un prodotto davvero ben fatto.

Die Lebensmittel sind liebevoll gestaltet, sogar mein großer Sohn wurde verführt damit zu spielen, weil man z.B. selbst einen Burger belegen kann. Es sind viele verschiedene Lebensmittel enthalten. Außerdem sind fertige Gerichte, wie Spaghetti, Pizza oder Spiegelei dabei, sodass man so tun kann, als ob man sie erst in der Küche zubereitet. Die Sachen sind auch recht stabil, sodass sie nicht gleich kaputt gehen, wenn man mal aus Versehen drauf tritt. Also genau das Richtige für kleine Rabauken! 😉
