I chose to recess this product in my master bathroom wall. It turned out wonderful!! It's probably not a project for a novice DIY'er, but if you have a reasonable amount of carpentry and electrical knowledge you can handle the project on your own. I like that you can wire the product different ways. You can wire to a switch, or wire direct and use the button on the front of the mirror. This is the option that I chose because it keeps the defogger functional all the time.The storage within the medicine cabinet is wonderful!! It comes with nice glass shelves that look very classy. There's an LED light inside which illuminates the interior of the cabinet wonderfully. It also has USB ports and outlets.This is a pricey product, and not super easy to install, but if you want to improve your bathroom, I would highly recommend this product!!

I used this for a bathroom we remodeled to make it wheelchair accessible. The 36" height is enough that I could mount the mirror 38" above the floor (ADA allows 40", but I wanted some extra because of the light strip). My son in law who is 6'4" could still see the top of his head when he was standing in front of it, so that worked out as well as I hoped. I have it above a countertop that is 30" wide and it is plenty big for the space but not too big.This cabinet is crazy heavy. It was installed by a contractor, and I'm sure I couldn't have done it by myself because of the weight.The mirror is loaded with features but not as well thought-out as it should be. The mirror has a power on/off switch built into the mirror. So if you want to dim the light, you have to provide your own dimmer. The thing that was most bothersome is that the outlet doesn't have a ground fault circuit interrupter, so my contractor had to change it out. So I lost the USB charging ports in that exchange.Overall it looks very nice and seems to be of top quality. The features are nice, but I don't know if I'll end up using them very much.

One year and a half after purchase the mirror started to melt in an area where the power cord comes into the face of the mirror for the lights. The seller immediately responded by sending me a replacement.. The other mirror purchased at the same time had no issues.. They work great and look beautiful. Wonderful customer support

It was a complicated delivery process as the delivery company does not have a phone number from Amazon to chat with you regarding delivery. The delivery must be set up. Ensure you keep up to date on Amazon regarding shipment and delivery. I eventually picked up the item myself. Took ~ Month.The medicine cabinet was well packaged. Very impressed. Installation was really easy! Level the lower metal bar to the wall. Drill a few holes and with two people it took less than 30 minutes to light this baby up. Hooked to old vanity light power as you can see in photos. Need to buy a cover plate.The extra storage is well worth it for a 900 sf condo. I need my beauty products!The lighting is not super bright but this is the biggest bang for the buck! There is a cool button in the glass for turning it on/off and a memory dimming feature. The door opens almost 180* It has mirror sides without the extra cost. VERY WELL MADE HINGES.Enjoy a glass of wine while you look at yourself from every angle with this masterfully designed medicine cabinet!The bad thing............you may find scary things about yourself that you never knew before! HaHa!I may buy another!!!

I researched the heck out of medicine cabinets and I'm grateful I went with this one. I had the bathroom back to studs and framed out the opening easily using the specs. My electrician was needed to connect the mirror to the switch. One can turn it on from the wall switch now or by pressing the led switch on the mirror - see pic. The inside, sorry I don't have a pic it lovely. Super high quality, sturdy finished metal look, 3 thick glass shelves, interior light that turns on when opening the door. Important - See pic - I discovered I needed an led vanity light above the mirror for more illumination. All led mirrors seemingly need this additional illumination. So - go the extra mile and get one like I did IMHO.

The light up mirror works great for a lower light level in my bathroom at night. I love the generous storage and interior outlet so electric toothbrushes and razors can charge out of sight. There's just enough room between the end of the shelves and the cabinet wall to thread cords through, so electrical items can be on lower shelves, not just at the top by the outlet.Installation was pretty straight forward, although it's quite heavy so it's good to have two people for the process. My contractor had me bracing it at points during the install.I am disappointed in the magnifying mirror image the door. It's not clear, so when I actually need to see something precise I went up looking at the plain mirrored part rather than the magnifying mirror.We bought two cabinets and the glass shelves inside are different colors. Within each cabinet the color is consistent, but if both cabinets are open at once it's very obvious that they're different colors.

We added a new bathroom to our home and installed two of these. This right hand hinged one and a left hand hinged one. They have loads of great features. Built-in dimmers, anti-fog, internal USB and electrical outlets, and magnifying mirror. While they may be more expensive than similar units, the quality is outstanding, so you are certainly getting what you pay for.I purchased these in August but they did not get unpacked and installed until December. The mirror on one door had a chipped edge and without any hassle, a replacement door was shipped and to me within a week. You know you are dealing with a company that delivers quality when their customer service is impeccable.

We bought these and they look great. Unfortunately we bought them early and when we went to install one of the mirrors was broken on the side. Outside of the return window now. Have to buy another one at over $800.
