This book is a must have for anyone who has piercings and an interest in body modification, as well as for professional piercers. Elayne's knowledge is immense, and her advice is straight forward, make-sense advice that eases concerns about troublesome piercings. I know people sometimes want to abandon a piercing that is irritated or infected. There is usually no need. Just follow the wonderful advice Elayne Angel has given, as she always does, and your piercings will thank you! Thanks, Ms. Angel, for another great go-to book!

Had everything I expected. A must for anyone interested in piercings.

I bought this after getting my navel pierced. My piercer only recommended using H2Ocean 3 times a day and whatever soap I used in the shower. I wanted more in depth care instructions especially since I am considering another piercing. This book contains lots of info in easy to understand language.

There has not been a scholarly approach to the art of body piercing, before Elayne Angel's book The Piercing Bible. At age 43 I was looking for a new career, something I could enjoy doing and meet interesting people. I had no knowledge of body piercing, other than having a few body piercings myself. During my research on body piercing, I could not find mush in the way of accurate or professional information, ether in book form or on the internet, it seemed as if humanity had mist the opportunity to document this art form. The Piercing Bible is a well researched and written body piercing manual, evoked from over a three decade career and some 40,000 individual body piercings performed. This is a holistic approach to the body piercing art form, not a instructional how to pierce the body with a needle. I have found it to be my go to body piercing reference book over the years, and should be a mandatory resource for all body piercers no mater there level of piercing skill and/or professionalism. This review has been about the book The Piercing Bible by Elayne Angel, though it is attached to this Aftercare and Troubleshooting supplement. All of the information in the Guide to Aftercare and Troubleshooting, is included in The Piercing Bible book. I have found it to be both beneficial and practical to have both books, as I use the Guide to Aftercare and Troubleshooting in my aftercare package, that all my clients receive after there body piercing and is covered in the cost of there piercing and put on a USB stick along with my own suggestion and information sheets. This dose not add to much to the overall cost of the piercing about $6 and my clients have responded very well to receiving a care and information package to take home, it has added to there experience and body piercing knowledge, as well as suppling them with accurate and indispensable information.
