We bought these for an indoor climbing wall for our kids. They were easy to install and look like real rocks! They come in a variety of shapes, and have a nice texture for gripping, making them both functional and fun. The quality is great, kids and adults have climbed multiple times over the last few months and the rocks have held up beautifully. Ages 4-65 have used these and enjoyed the experience! The rocks are a great addition to our play area. They came with a little bit of a smell and left gray dust on our socks for the first few climbs, but that all goes away with time and use. They are a great value, I would recommend this product.

These feel like rock (also quite heavy) and have a very natural appearance and feel to them. We love that. We intend to use these on trees and wanted them to be less noticeable than the colorful kind. These are perfect. They're small, so they're perfect for our kids, ages ranging from 4-14. I plan to get the large holds when they get older. Overall, I would highly recommend these.

I bought these for my son to make a rock climbing tree! yes on our tree. these screw on holds work just as they said with the #10 screws. we got 2 1/2 inch screws and they even hold my body weight at 200 lbs. The hold actually feel like rocks, not plastic like the colored ones. The holds are way more realistic than anything you would ever find at a playground. they give nice level of difficulty making it more enjoyable than just climbing and easy wall. My son has been climbing the tree at least an hour everyday since we bought it. the quality plus the price of these cannot be matched. I think we may order another box to go higher up in the tree.

Just as pictured, very rugged, they work amazing ONCE I ACTUALLY MOUNTED THEM. The look is pleasant and natural. This product doesn’t come with mounting screws, seriously?? So I looked at the description and buried in one giant barely readable paragraph it says screws not included. That should definitely be on the description pictures and in BIG BOLD LETTERS prior to ordering. Now I have to go to the hardware store. Again. Waste of time. Fix the description guys, come on!

I love the holds, but prefer the bolt on vs these screw on. I bought a bunch of each, and installed them on a couple of beech trees on my property. Both were very sturdy and have a great texture. Installation of the bolt on holds was faster and easier. I thought the screw on holds would be less likely to rotate, and they are, but the bolt on holds won't rotate either after my installation. I've maintained climbing walls before and know you have to retighten the holds annually. I installed both styles of holds with some silicone behind them to compensate for irregularities in the tree surface. I feel very sure about their fastness, with no concern for needed maintenance. Both are great holds, but from my perspective bolt on beats screw on. A great feature is that these are so natural looking they disappear in nature. My project was in the forest and the holds are virtually invisible.

Easy to install, and have stood up to lots of abuse and use by my son and his friends.

I had some issues with shipping around black Friday and the company replied within minutes to my emails! They were super friendly and understanding. The shipping issue was quickly resolved and the product is great. As some have mentioned, the holds are not large but medium. Also, no nuts and bolts - but how can the company know what length you need? Also, nuts and bolts are heavy and someone has to pay for shipping.

Made a rock climbing wall for the kids but these are large enough for adults to use too. Best I could find for quality and price. Good variety in each box (I bought two), some are challenging however the majority (Roughly 7 easy : 1 hard ratio) are easy to grip. Personally I used the challenging ones down low for foot holds to make it easier on the kids.

Love these rocks. distributor must have mislabeled the box and I have received and returned two Boxes with screw on description but inside the box are bolt ons.

These have been working great so far, my kids love the climbing wall to their play room. Wood backing is required behind each hold and the screws look like eyes in the holds. My wall has had lots of use between kids and friends and I’ve had no issues with the holds. The holds do darken with the oils from peoples hands, but they can still hold me and I’m 220 lbs. Great for anyone wanting to build a wall.

The product description says there're 25 holds....but The first time received 10. I returned them then reordered. The second time received 7 with one broken in half. Returned and ordered again. Third time received 10.... it's otherwise a nice product.
