Very thick / heavy. Perfect for moving, storage, or as cheap protection from bedbugs, moisture, dust mites, etc. I have not yet slept on a bed with this plastic on it, so I cannot attest to softness, (thus the zero star rating for comfort,) but as thick as this plastic is I cant imagine its comfortable to sleep directly on. If you intend to sleep on a bed with this bag on it, be sure the bag is taut on all sides to prevent noise / large wrinkles that may be uncomfortable. I use clear packing tape to close the bag and keep folds in place. Also, I suggest a washable mattress pad over the plastic (and under your sheets) for comfort. If using for bed wetters you can just throw the pad into the wash with some bleach and remove all odor. The plastic wipes down easily if needed.

The bag is made of heavy duty plastic and is reusable. We inserted our queen size bed and tape sealed it at the end except for the vacuum hose opening. We vacuumed the air completely and sealed the opening. We finally rolled the mattress into a 2 feet diameter roll and taped it for transportation in my SUV. Easiest transfer of a mattress I have ever done.

I have moved many times and bought many mattress bags. I try to reuse the mattress bags, but they tend to get damaged in the move and become disposable items. Not this bag.This bag is very thick, but not too thick. It was easy to carry the mattress in the bag. Tape stuck very well to the bag. It held my very thick queen mattress without any struggle getting it in and with lots left at the top to seal it. The bag slid nicely on the floors when being pushed in the truck or in the home. Afterwards the bag came off easily enough and folded up quite well for storage. The sealed end's seams held up well too. Great product!

Works well for placing a foam mattress inside, sealing it so it is airtight and attaching a shop vac to dramatically squeeze the mattress into a smaller package.

It seems like it will work fine while the mattress is in storage, but the plastic honestly feels thin. Be warned we already had a small tear when moving it from location to storage.

Very durable mattress cover. I would definitely purchase again next time I move. Typically these plastic covers rip during moves, this is the first one I’ve had that didn't rip while moving. I tried to save for my next move and stored it at my parents house, but my mom found it and used it to spray paint furniture on- so the product is also versatile!

Nothing against the cover - just a tip to watch your lazy movers - mine had this and Nothing else sitting on the mattress - they put this on the floor and moved the mattress so it got dirtier than if I'd left a washable bottom sheet on it. When I went to sell at a garage sale for $1 (queen size unopened) could not sell it - I guess some places sell them new (UHaul maybe?) pretty cheap so no resale value even unused.

Great for moving or storing. Pretty thick. Drove 4 hours with them in an open trailer. So with 75moh traffic and winds and some rain, cover kept the mattresses dry. And then dragging them across the ground. Didnt snag but on a loose nail innthe trailer bed. (As anything should snag on a nail sticking up)After I moved, I converted it into a grill cover for 2 grills. Pretty weather resistant for 6 months running now outside over a grill!!! ;)
