Beautiful place settings for a cost much lower than expected. They are sturdy and easy to clean. the pattern is bright and colours vibrent. well crafted item.

I love these and was so pleased when I saw them in the sale. Excellent value for money. Wish there had been coasters with highland cattle too.

I really do like this item, priced at £12.84 on the 15th September 2016. I received it as part of the Amazon Vine programme to review and I hope that readers will accept that whilst I have received this item free of charge, I have tried to provide an unbiased review.I knew that there were only 4 mats in each order, which is ideal for the square table which we have in our kitchen for day to day meals for my wife, son and I. The mats themselves seem to be of fairly standard construction of melamine type facing, with a cork base: I would assume some form of plastic stiffener in between; pretty much standard for this type of mat I would suggest.The picture is that of a fox, with a "rain drop" overlay; which is a little different, however, my imagination suggests viewing a fox, through the window, shortly after a rain shower. The mats are easy to clean with a damp cloth, however, might I suggest that I feel that the cover might not be resistant to anything other than warm plates and certainly not for plates removed from the oven. (my wife has been warned).I have awarded this item four stars, simply on the basis that whilst they compare well in terms of price for similar items, I am not sure how durable they will be over time and whilst the art work, particularly of the very lifelike fox is engaging, it might not be to everyone's taste. My wife for example felt they looked odd, whereas I tended to look at them differently and felt that it could be interpreted in many ways.Might I finish on a very positive note? I really liked the different perspective on her interpretation of painting wildlife and it is on this basis that I have ordered two packs of her pheasant placemat for our dining room; which seats 8. Enough said.

I bought these for a Christmas gift for our Pastor and wife because thei surname is Fox.I'm sure they will clean up alright. Very sturdy made good quality very pleased with them come in a nice presentation box.
