So... I can't sleep on it.
I feel a bit like the princess with the pea, but I can't sleep on it. I don't like the distinct lump under my pillow much less the one-eared sound it produces. I also find it problematic to stay within hearing range while adjusting the pillow under my arms. I am a stomach sleeper, maybe it would work better for a back sleeper? My best solution is to slip it into a second pillow propped above my first (positioned like a headboard or extra reading pillow) and then turn set the volume so that I can hear it, but not loud enough to disturb others. I've listened to NatureSpace, audiobooks and music this way, but for the most part I feel that the low volume controls on my iPod (without headphones) provide the same or better quality of sound.

I chose this one and was very disappointed. I don't expect audiophile quality from a pillow ...
My years-old workhorse Pillowsonic speaker has started working on and off so I decided to get a new one, only to find they don't make that model any more. After scouring reviews, I chose this one and was very disappointed. I don't expect audiophile quality from a pillow speaker, but this one sounds like a can with a piece of string attached. No low or mid range to speak of, and the overall volume was lacking. It's densely wrapped in foam/other covering, so maybe that muffles too much sound - I don't know. It's also fairly thick in size, which is another strike. I got out the soldering iron and fixed the wiring on the old Pillowsonic (again), so we'll see how long it lasts this time.

Nice try, but poorly executed.
It was very comfy and useful for the first 2 weeks, but after that one of the speakers stopped working and the other came loose inside the pillow and is rattleing around unsecured. I continue to use it because the second speaker is working, but I wouldn't buy another as a replacement.

Happy with it.
Sounds better than I expected (I use it for guided meditation, not music). It's smaller than I expected - about 6" x 12". The cord is very thin, and could stand to be about 1-2 feet longer. but overall works great and is a good value. I got a great sleep induction track and have never slept better.

Great sleep aid!
I choice this pillow because I listen to mediation CDs or downloads from You Tube to help me sleep. It is a wonderful sleep aid. Highly recommend it.

Okay
One must lay on their side for this to work best. The sound is quite good with this model and the material from which it is made is good.
