A real time-saver. It's solid, performs brilliantly, and is easy to use. Buy it!
A very useful laundry assistant, and I would thoroughly recommend it.Here are a few notes on my experience with it so far.It holds almost exactly 100ml of water. This is not a lot, so don't expect to use it on a large laundry load. I steamed 3 gent's shirts (medium sized) and it needed 2 fills to complete this task. The water compartment is actually made of glass (or something similar, like pyrex) and it surrounds a cleverly designed but exposed heating element. The nozzle fits easily, locks into place and is very secure - there's no danger of it falling off.The first fill using cold tap water into a cold machine, took 42 seconds to produce full steam. A refill immediately after this took 30 seconds to produce steam. This is all more than acceptable.I tried it on 3 different shirts to give it a decent workout - an easy-iron gents white shirt (polycotton), a denin shirt, and a linen shirt. Here's how I got on:-The white shirt had just been washed and tumble-dried, but still looked mildly creased. The steamer worked fine on it, taking around 2 minutes to make it look really quite smart with very little effort. Was it as good as using a steam iron? Probably. Will I use it again for white shirts? Definitely. The denim shirt had come straight from my wardrobe and had quite a few 'hanging creases' on it. It had previously been washed and tumble-dried, but not ironed. There was no way it could be worn in its present state as it was far too creased. The steamer worked brilliantly on it, much to my surprise. I expected to take between 5 and 10 minutes on it, but am pleased to say it only took 2 minutes. If anything, the steamer worked better on the denim than it did on the poly-cotton white shirt. I'll most certainly be using it on denim again. The third shirt was the one I thought would really test the steamer - a crumpled linen shirt that had been patiently waiting in my wardrobe to be ironed. It had been there for months, as I knew it would take ages to make it wearable - I reckon it would have taken at least 8-10 minutes with an iron to make it look even half decent. But I was genuinely impressed when the steamer sorted it out in less than 3 minutes. It made an excellent job if it. I was truly impressed.A couple of other things are worth saying. I deliberately let the steamer boil dry to see if its safety device (the overheating cutout) worked. It did. But I had to leave it for over 10 minutes to cool enough to let me refill it without undue hissing and spitting. And it functioned perfectly well after that too - it clearly didn't affect it in any way. It's also worth saying that it has a decent length of cord attached to it, but this is both a good thing and a bad thing; it certainly makes it easy to use as it gives ample room to operate. But if you put a half-filled steamer down on a surface for a moment's rest, the weight of the cable is almost enough to pull the steamer alarmingly towards the floor - it's not a heavy piece of equipment, so isn't the most stable, despite its broad base. I rested the steamer on a granite kitchen worktop and the cable made it slide towards the edge. Just make sure that in use, you place it somewhere secure if you put it down.Functionally, this little steamer ticks all the boxes. But I would have happily have paid another couple of pounds if it had been more aesthetically pleasing; it looks and feels a little bit cheap. The on\off switch in particular really looks in need of a re-design; it would look more at home on a 1980's plastic torch. Don't get me wrong, the plastic isn't thin; it's chunky but sturdy. But it certainty won't win any design awards for appearances. And I really can't see many people using it as a travel accessory; despute its diminutive size, it's stll too bulky to take travelling - for me at least.I paid £20 for it, though having examined it thoroughly I'd reckon that £15 - £18 would be a fairer price. But was it money well spent? Without a doubt; it works a treat, and that is the bottom line.

Great little machine
What a great little gadget. It’s nice and compact. I got a small steamer as I’m not one for spending hours ironing, I like to just iron and go. So one thing at a time. I had a delivery of two cotton tops this week, they arrived like dishclothes so it was great to give them a quick steam to try them on, as not able to wash them, incase I need to return them. Lovely.

Don’t bother
Unfortunately it’s not very good at all! Doesn’t do much re steaming you constantly have to fill it up don’t bother

Brilliant.
Just bought this to sort out a suit jacket that arrived very creased .....it took me a couple of goes to realize you have to make contact between the garment & steamer. But as soon as I did the creases disappeared in front of my eyes.Admittedly you have to keep topping it up every five minutes but it works.Recommend highly.

More hassle that it's worth
Not really a replacement for an iron. Due to it's small size you'll be lucky to get one shirt looking half as good as what an iron can do in half the time before it runs out of water.Tried out on a few shirts and the looked about two thirds ironed, still visible creases etc. If you're looking for a replacement to an iron, this isn't it.

Very good !
Absolutely love it.. read through loads of reviews for different makes & this came out the top. Still couldn’t make my mind up as I felt perhaps I should go for something more expensive ( get what you pay for type of thing) but glad I didn’t. Ironed a pair of denim dungarees perfect !

Handy on my cruise
Most cruise lines don't allow travel irons but this garment steamer passed muster and came in really handy. The unit seems well made and produces sufficient steam to get rid of creases from my suits and DJ etc. The water reservoir is adequate and the amount of steam generated is sufficient to get rid of most creases.
