Beach Rays Young Women's Boardshort Swimwear

Nice shorts. Haven't worn them out to pool or such yet. I ordered the smallest size, 1. And I'm glad I did because a larger size would have fallen off. So for those of you trying to determine size... I normally wear a size 2-4, I am 5'4 & weigh 107. I'm slender through the hips so even the size one sits lower on me but doesn't fall off. Someone my size with wider hips would fit perfect. I moved the Velcro closure all the way over & tied tight still a little lose but as I said it just fits a little lower but not to loose to fall off. Still looks fine.If you wear any champion clothing (athletic clothing sold at target) & wear a size XS or small in the athletic shorts/pants, that is my normal fit.

True board shorts with quick drying material and secure closure, pockets, and Dark Brown color which are so hard to find!!!!I'm normally 2-4, with a little pooch. 5'2 130.If you're 2-4 with a flat tummy - size 3 may work for you.Size 5 was too big (about 1in)Size 3 was just slightly too small.Size 5 was a double rivet with a brown string tie. - cleaner lookingSize 3 was a single rivet with a a white string tie.I believe the 5 may be a newer style since the brown string tie looks much cleaner.Neither one fit me well. Perhaps if I loose some weight!What a BUMMER!!!!!

I have a pair of these that are about 4 years old. This new pair fits nothing like my old pair. I ordered a 9 since my old pair are size 9. The old ones sit slightly below the waist. These fit way below the waist, and they are at least 2" bigger around and they just fall off of me. I did compare the side seam length...the new pair are about 1.5 inches shorter at the side seam, so I believe that they are supposed to sit lower than my old pair. The inner leg seam is the same as my old pair. Anyway, if I had altered them by "digging out" the crotch seam they would have ended up being too short, so there is really no way to redeem these. So, I returned them. It is so sad, because I love my old pair...and they are getting old :(

These shorts are a nice, modest alternative to typical swim bottoms. But there is no spandex in them at all which means there is NO give in the fit. You better order exactly the size you need because they aren't very forgiving :) I wear a size 10 in womens, I ordered an 11 in these shorts. They are a little snug and I probably couldn't work out in them. And since I go swimming with small kids, that's basically what i do in the pool. So, these are ok. But a little spandex would have made them great.

These shorts would have been ideal but the waist was way too big and not adjustable at all.

The fit is perfect for me! It’s not stretchy material so its not tight, doesn’t create love handles haha! They have Velcro and string to tighten to just where you want them. They are a great length also, not booty shorts. I did a lot of walking in them one day and got a little bit of chafing on the inside of my thigh but I shouldn’t have been walking in them wet and dry wet and dry ALL day long.

Great, but too big! At the front is a stretchy piece that allows for a thicker waist. I ordered a size 11, even though I am a size 8 as I have a bit of a thicker waist and reading the past reviews that stated they ran small. I would order a size 9 next time. But over all the quality is good and I liked the style.

These board shorts are cute but run slightly large. Although the picture suggests that there might be a way to tie it smaller, there is not. Also, these shorts sit very low on the hip so if that style is not good for your body type, you won't like these. It would be nice if they had an inner liner.
