Initial impressions since I just received and installed it. It’s much heavier and robust feeling as compared with the other popular brand. The spray patterns are adjustable by turning the bell part of the nozzle. Compared with the other popular brand it seems like the full jet spray is not nearly as powerful distance-wise but adequate for my needs. There are no leaks and the cost is much less. Delivery was in one day vs about 7-10 days for the other brand. It’s a keeper in my opinion.

This is one of the good ones, at a good price too. 1. Water flow is so good with this nozzle. This means you should use the highest flow spigot on your house. Ideally you can get full pressure directly from the city supply as it enters your house via a full flow ball valve. If you can't supply enough flow, you might not get the spray distance or pressure you expect. 2. The internals are all metal, unlike it's competitors at this price point. Having metal insides is important because the part you twist against to shut off the water is held by this thin cross brace inside the unit. This is the piece that budget manufacturers replace with plastic because you can't see it. However, when you start getting hard water build up on the valve, you may find yourself using more twisting force to stop the flow, and that's how the cheap ones break. This all metal unit will last a lifetime with no maintenance. 3. Another reviewer mentioned this: Inside my unit there was extra metal left over from casting that might impede the water flow. I used a needle file to remove it, but there wasn't enough to make any noticeable difference in my case. Honestly, even if you don't care to file it down, I would still recommend this one over any other.

Got tired of replacing plastic crap every year and bought 3 of these - one for each hose. Heavy and solid but not indestructible, but almost! Heavy metal and rubber. One squirts a little weird now ( probably from me just dropping hard it on the concrete) but it's not a big deal. All 3 still holding up great a year later. Biggest potential con? While there is a range of spray patterns, there is no volume control. Easily solved with a on -off valve fitting between it and the hose. Yes, a little pricey compared to cheap plastic crap, but WAY worth it.

This is a very sturdy 'firehose-style' nozzle that appears to be very well-made. I havent tried it yet under high pressure, but the metal construction seems better than the old one I got 10 years ago at a much higher price. It is solid and much heavier than I expected, but it feels like it is going to last. I'll update more once I start using it in earnest

i only make one review a year because i don't think my opinion counts. this nozzle is above and beyond in spray performance, i bought a few on the same day, and this one was the best and i returned the rest to amazon. low pressure or high pressure the geometry of the spray is uniform and theres multiple modes. this nozzle is worth every penny and performs like my dixon.

Good heavy brass nozzle with rubber coating to protect from scratching vehicles. Other reviews states it only shuts off in one direction the high stream side. Which is true but you can easily manipulate the stream by barely cracking it open. I’m planting new shrubs and it will work great for soaking mode, very controllable for this.

This nozzle does what it is supposed to do. I added an inline shutoff valve to make it easier to stop the flow of water instantly instead of twisting the nozzle all the way in one direction to stop the flow. It's make well and should last a long time.

I love most of it but every time I get a new one they all leak in TWO spots.
