Great product
Well it all started with the delivery driver, helped me into the house with the product as it was heavy, he took all external packaging and pallets, could not of had a better driver. The fire it’s self is great so easy to light and a really good heat output. Looks amazing in my cottage and it’s a real flame that makes it look like a feral log fire. More expensive than on some sights but with Amazon you always have the knowledge that returns are easy should the need arise. This fire is staying put great purchase. The gas bottle needed for this product is a 21mm bottle of butane gas, the 1st canister is expensive cos you have to buy the canister it’s self but after that it’s half the price,

Close to real deal fire
Many years ago when I was on YTS I use to help deliver mainly Amazon and some Calor gas bottles and have experience the warmth these kind of heaters gave. The Provence is from Ireland, the front, top and bottom are cast iron and the whole unit is heavy duty. The Irish don't cut corners when it comes to traditional style fires. It draws cold air from the bottom, heat it up and distribute mostly out of the vent at the top. There is also sufficient heat comming from the front were the fire is. Be aware the front of the heater gets incredibly hot so avoid touching the front, it can remain hot for an hour after the heater has turned off. The back cover is a bit fiddly to slot into place and can take some practice.I got the Cream version because I think it suite both traditional and modern settings, but to be honest I like all the colours.

Looks just like the real thing
We bought this heater as a back up in case we have a power cut in the winter. Not only is it very efficient it looks great as well.It weighs a ton , but as its on wheels this isn't a problem unless you have to carry it up steps. I love the way the gas canister is completely encased and out of sight.

Heavy Metal
I bought one of these heaters about 2 years ago. It looks really stunning, if you like the 'wood-burner' type of fire. Very heavy and substantial, it looks attractive whether lit or not. My only reservation is the way that it sends out the heat. I have another gas heater, the traditional three burner type, which sends out radiant heat.....straight at you. The heat from the Provence comes out of the grill above the flame and therefore circulates around the room. As I'm cold-blooded, this doesn't appeal to me as much as my other gas heater, the heat is directed upwards rather than forwards. If this doesn't bother you, then the Provence really is a nice addition to your home.

provence heater review
I have one of theese heaters one year now and i love it its very effective for heating my livingroom i have economy7 heating (useless)and i switch it on in the evening when i come home to top up my heating level. It looks like a real wood burner when set to max the only down side to it is it does use more gas than my last super sur but then it does give out more heat and as with all these type of heaters and cookers there is a very slight smell its not bad or very apparent but then a real coal or wood burning fire does smell to and it would not put me off recomending this item well built and looks fantastic

Brilliant heater
Great heater, i prefer the cream one. I,ve wired an eco fan just over the heater top port and its even quicker at heating a given space..

Had this all winter and is cute and cosy, quick and clean.I have had log fires and they look better but this is so easy and practical in comparison.Everyone who has seen it like it and I don"t think they are just being polite
