Model Rectifier #0001424 Prodigy Advance2 DCC Digital Command Control System, WiFi

Ran 4 different DCC locos within 1 hour of receiving this new command system. I had read the online manual before I got the system, but setup was super easy. It was easy to reprogram loco addresses on the main track, and activate functions such as lights, sounds, etc. I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface. Terrific system, easy and fun to use, looking forward to getting more acquainted with it. I should have gotten into DCC sooner. Thanks MRC !

Opened the manual, read the instructions and saw this would be easy and awesome. In less than 10 minutes I was driving a DCC SOUND enabled train on a little test track I had. Then I tested the WIFI module with my phone, and that was awesome too. (WiThrottleLite seems amazing)After 30 minutes of use I smelled smoke and checked around to see where the Oder was coming from. The handheld remote was emitting an odor of burnt electronics.Now the remote shows a screen working and WiThrottleLite is still connected, but the remote smells like it is burning and I cannot drive any locomotives.Very unfortunate. I saved up for a while to get this and it burned up in less than 30 minutes of use. Contacting the manufacturer to see what they can do as I bought it brand new here on amazon.

I have not used it yet but have always been pleased with MRC products plus the price was right!
