4 years on still working great nice and bright. This was super quick and easy to fit, probably easier than changing the bulb and means the bot is much better illuminated especially when we are in an unlit street, campsite, car park etc. Would buy again.

Great product. Easy to install as I have done it before in my old car. The packaging was in a box. Clear white light as you can see. I have attached the before picture and after picture. This product fitted on my VW Golf MK6 R. It's brand new no damaged on the product. It fitted correctly as the OEM one. No fault lights showing on the dashboard. I highly recommend it.

For some reason, the Golf came with white LEDs everywhere except for the boot area, which had a 10w incandescent festoon. This is a direct fit into the ceiling aperture, and is very bright. It matches the OEM lighting nicely. NB. I bought one of these types of units elsewhere, and it took me months to trace back a fault to the earthing within the circuitry. The fault was that the car kept flashing the indicators periodically when locked, every few seconds, for hours at a time (a single flash).

Liked easy fitting, an improvement on existing lamp, giving much better lighting.

It was easy to install, I connected it to the reverse light, and the display was connected to the cigarette lighter. Pick up the signal immediately, with no delay at all. The only issue, the mounting doesn't stay on the windscreen, or any other surface.Falling off after a couple of minutes. I had to find a different way to mounting. But otherwise this a good camera for this price!

The original boot (trunk) light on the Mk7.5 VW Golf is a filament bulb; one of only two in the entire car. It gives out a poor light but thankfully I bought this replacement and the difference is remarkable - about 3-4 times brighter and a decent, white light spread across the whole boot. The fitting is easy, as you just gently pop out the existing fitting with a screwdriver (YouTube is good if concerned), unplug the connector and connect the new LED light housing and clip it back into place. I'm really pleased with the result and the boot is useable anytime of day or night now with a good view of all the boot tools in case of emergency. Essential.

Simply switch out the old bulb type and attach the connector. Much brighter and not prone to the bulb loosing connection. Can’t comment on longevity or bulb life but should have swapped it over sooner. Mine was for a VW Passat Estate. A well lit boot now 😀

Excellent upgrade from the dim oem light bulbs. So easy to fit, took less than a minute. No issues or errors etc. Highly recommend.

Ottima sostituzione della plafoniera originale su Passat B8. Ho scelto di sostituire l'intera plafoniera al posto di cambiare solo la lampadina interna perché questa nasce direttamente a led, ed a differenza dell'originale ha la parte superiore chiusa con un involucro di alluminio probabilmente per la dissipazione del calore. Il montaggio è semplicissimo, si toglie la vecchia e n llo stesso modo si monta questa senza fare alcuna modifica. Ci vogliono pochi istanti. Una volta montata è quasi identica all'orginale con la differenza che la luce emessa è sia molto più forte, direi almeno tre volte in più, e il colore è identico al resto della'illuminazione interna dell'auto, un bel bianco freddo.

I bought this for my vw golf 7 facelift. The light is really good quality, better than the original i would say. The clip that holds it in place metal on this one and not plastic like the original so it holds it in place really tight. The light output is really high, it even illuminates the ground outside now. No error codes.
