Good, but lacking details.
Good book for someone learning the QV server but if you already have some experience with the server then you might find this book lacking the details. You could get all the information contained in this book from the various QV server manuals, though the book does a good job summarizing and giving you practical examples that you can follow (including cluster setup and different authentication scenarios).Unfortunately, I have found numerous typos/errors in the text, it seems like the book was rushed and not enough time/attention was given to the editing.

Not 4 or 5 because it glosses over some really painful issues, such at licensing
3 because it appears to be the only book out there on the subject. Not 4 or 5 because it glosses over some really painful issues, such at licensing, certificates, and the soap api in general.

Great book about Qlikview
This book was exactly what I was looking for.Very clear instructions and great coverage on the QlikView Server and Publisher. When I start to read it, I had no idea about QlikView infrastructure. Since I completed it, I have implemented it three times, in different environments and with all the complexities that customers bring to our desks. So, it is an enabler. Definitely recommended!
