Sioux Chief Mfg Sioux Chief 846-S9PK 6-1/2-Inch Cast Iron Strainer, No Size, No Color

Have looked for this item locally for years with no success. I didn't think anyone made them any more. I was wrong AND they are made in the USA.Love having my laundry room floor drain outfitted with the correct cover not some flimsy, ill-fitting substitute. Very solid, quality product.

This drain grate is strong and durable enough to support the weight of my full size pickup truck.

I measured the drain cover in our garage that had rusted. This new cover fit perfectly and was just what I needed. Very thick and sturdy, so I’m not worried about stepping on it while walking around in the garage.

We recently had our cement deck redone. The drain holes and covers are too large and didnt' know this until finished the work. (Don't make the size any more due to federal regulations.) I spent hours and miles trying to find something. I finally found one at an Ace Hardware about 60 miles away. They couldn't find any more for me. So, I ordered on line. Even though these are a "tiny bit smaller than the drain hole", they stay in place due to the weight. Not only heavy but well made. I wish I hadn't wasted so much time and energy looking and found these first. The only negative, which I don't consider a negative, is that they are black. Great product and well worth the money.

Easy to install and effective solution. Sturdy. Lasted 2 years so far and I expect it to last many more.
