Reasonable for what it’s designed to do
I’d have given it 5-stars except (and this is my fault for not better researching the pics) that it doesn’t have the hemispherical dome inside to keep debris from dropping into the pipe opening directly below the grate (the dome acts like an umbrella over the pipe opening below it and sheds debris to the outside collection ring in the base unit, and only water goes down your pipes. Otherwise a solid drain grate.

Good quality
The one I had was 40 years old and rusty. Super easy to buy this new one and pop it down. It’s very heavy and does the job.

It's a cast iron drain cover. Definitely fit for purpose!
It made my grungy basement utility room with a drain in the floor less grungy. Looks much better that the nasty rusted drain cover it replaced! ;)

Works as advertised
Cast iron rusts horribly. They really chose the wrong metal for a cover that is bound to get wet. The coating they apply to it isn't waterproof. So it does work well and is very strong...just don't expect it to last in wet/damp locations.

Basement sewer cover plate is a hard to find item in stores.
After many trips to Lowes & Home Depot where they were always out of stock I tried Amazon & found a wide variety to choose from. Very happy with purchase. Fit perfectly.

Not as pictured or described
Product is OK but not epoxy coated as described. Has a cheap black oxide finish which will easily rust.

Why would you put such an annoying sticker on this
I have a drain in my driveway that needed a replacement cast iron grate, and this did the job perfectly. The only issue i have is WHY would you add such an annoying sticker? It comes of in pieces and leaves a gooey residue behind. I tried for a minute, then just left it on, hoping the rain will wash it away.

Great, hard to find replacement drain cover
When I first received the drain cover, it would not fit in drain opening because it was out of round (6-7/8 x 7.0). I requested a replacement which arrived in two days and it fits perfectly. I give the replacement 5 stars, but only rate this product 4 stars due to bad original casting. I feel the out of round condition should have been caught by the factory quality control. However, I am very pleased with the replacement cover and also with Amazon's handling of my issue.
