Crassula ovata 'Gollum' is a small evergreen, sparingly branched, shrubby succulent up to 3 feet (90 cm) tall and up to 2 feet (60) wide, with interesting tubular leaves that have a reddish tint. The flowers are small, star-like, white or pinkish-white in color. good candidate for making bonsai tree and great for houseplant as other jade plants. Crassula ovata, commonly known as jade plant, friendship tree, lucky plant, money plant or money tree, is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers. It is native to South Africa and Mozambique, is common as a houseplant worldwide. The jade plant requires little water and can survive in most indoor conditions. Light: Jade Plant flourishes in good health with plenty of light. If you can provide a few hours of sunshine a day you're going to have a happy plant. Soil: Well drain soil mix/ cactus or succulents soil mix. Watering: It's best to allow the soil to become dry between each watering which will depend on the time of year, how much humidity and amount of sunlight it's getting. Allowing too much water to sit at the bottom of the pot with the roots will cause them to rot.

Perfect Jade
This baby jade was a perfect addition to our mini succulent garden. The jade was shipped in a box and protected from breaking (just comes as the plant - no soil or pot). Easy to plant and to care for. I waited to write a review to make sure the plant would survive... it actually has thrived and is a beautiful addition (check out the photo). Plant was exactly as described and healthy when delivered. Would make a perfect gift for a plant (succulent) lover!!!

Super Duper Cute Plant!
I love this plant. It’s like a tiny tree. And the leaves are so unusual. They are long and have trumpet like ends. The plant came bare root and was nicely wrapped in paper. I contacted the seller to ask what size pot to place it in. I did get reply within 24 hours. Potter the plant. Within a few days the leaves started spreading out and it looked happy. I put it in a terra-cotta pot, but I also think it would look great in a Bonzsai pot.

Gorgeous, Healthy Plant!
Love this plant! It was shipped securely and lost no leaves on the way over. It was a little thirsty, but otherwise healthy upon arrival. Two months in and it's doing great! 10/10 would order again. But, for full transparency, there was an initial mixup and before I received this rooted plant they sent me cuttings instead. Those have also done very well, all have rooted, and the communication was great in fixing the mixup. Overall very pleased!

slightly damaged upon arrival
for the most part it looked like the picture, except some of the leaves were black/shriveled when I opened the box. This could have happened just to the fact that I ordered a plant to be delivered in the mail and also that I live in california and it has been getting warmer. I will update this post to see if it survives in the next few days/weeks.Update: original post was may 9th, it is now July and I just wanted to state that the plant is still alive, I cut off the black/shriveled leaves, washed the roots and put the plant into a pot not long after it arrived. It is still surviving so that's a plus and why I'm increasing the rating by 1 star.

I recently bought succulents from this seller and was amazed at how well the plants did in shipping. So I bought this lovely item and yet again this item came 4 days ahead of time with this wonderful plant! I recieved the exact description and the plant was in great condition. Thank you!..... Update: (10/22/19) I have had this plant for 2 months now and he is doing great! The first week some bruising from shipping did occur. None the less it was well worth it! I couldn’t be more happy about its health. I have already purchased a second plant. :)

I received exactly what I ordered. the rooted 'tree' was carefully wrapped in paper. the color is beautiful & it is closer to 13" so it's taller than expected. I had a question about a white substance in the soil at the root ball. The seller responded within 24hrs and has been very helpful. I would absolutely buy this again.I've only had it for 2 or 3 days so I will follow up after a few wks/months.
