I wish I’d listened to a reviewer who complained about the chemical smell. The smell is very strong and even after I soaked them for 24 hours and washed them twice the smell persisted. I would describe the smell as a very strong petroleum gasoline type smell. I will not buy them again or recommend them to anyone.
