I’ve purchased this Fla Hernia Support to help me with my daily basis work as a security officer, I have a very painful hernia especially after standing and/or patrolling for long hours, I was hesitant from purchasing any kind of these products because, I read that the surgery is the only way to eliminate that pain, and I was completely wrong as many people like me, because this product helped me a lot to eliminate the pane I used to have, I’m walking now for hours without any pane, it’s really worth the price I paid for, and also it is not bothering me even when I put it for long hours, it’s size adjustable and easy to wear, I recommend this Hernia support for everybody who has the same problem, thanks for the people who design it.

This belt works really well for me. Once my hernia presented itself I was very disappointed to find out I would have to wait six weeks to get in for surgery. I am a very active guy and walking and standing for any length of time with my hernia is painful. This support belt was the perfect solution. It fits well and applies pressure exactly where I need it. I'm able to walk most of the day without worrying about doing any more damage until I have surgery and no pain. I strongly recommend this product. It's inexpensive and was delivered promptly.

Very good product and very affordable... Easy to use and gentle to put on.. I actually bought this belt for my father, who was experiencing immense pain in his lower region, but since using this item regularly, he has had no major problems... I would recommend this product to everyone suffering from the same type of pain... I purchased this product, hopefully, to help me with my problem. This Product was the absolute worst of ALL the hernia products I ordered! The company would NOT accept returns on this kind of product! So be aware .. Do not order! Very flimsy and will not help! I cannot believe they do not accept returns! I forgot to add that I purchased (2) different hernia belts on the same order, both flimsy, no support. Money wasted because this company will not accept returns. So don't buy from this company, buy where they accept a return or you will be just throwing your money away!

I'm using this product to help out until my hernia repair surgery. It doesn't completely reduce the hernia, but it does keep it from protruding to the point of being painful. This small adjustment has made a major improvement in my over all comfort. The only issue is that the elastic bands have rough edges, and this causes some irritation if I have to walk for more than a few minutes at a stretch. I am combating this by covering the elastic with strips of cloth from an old T-shirt. I have a 33" waist and purchased the medium size because the small wasn't eligible for Prime. It fits fine even though it is intended for a larger waist.

I have a medium sized inguinal hernia on the right side. I've been wearing this support for several weeks now and just ordereda second one. I am 5'11" and 190 lbs.and found the medium just right for my 41" hips. Unlike other reviewers, I have found the understraps are not that uncomfortable, stay where they should and I especially like being able to use the toilet fully without having to remove the belt. (As I realize people differ in their anatomy, your results may vary.)I'm still experimenting with the pad: (a)removing it altogether,(b)using as per instructions with the foam pad inserted, and (c)switching the left side pad to the right with the flat side inward. (I'll update my review when I have made a full evaluation.)As I won't be able to have surgery for some time,over all so far this product has been a lifesaver.

The hernia was a new experience for me, and it freaked me out. So I bought two of this device, so I would always have a clean one. It was uncomfortable, but gave me a measure of peace of mind. After using it on and off for a couple of weeks, I had a killer backache after wearing it in a sitting position for an extended period of time one day. That was the last time I wore it. Doctors assured me there was no imminent danger (in my particular case), so long as I avoided heavy lifting. I had the hernia fixed surgically after living with it for about half a year -- laparoscopic outpatient procedure, experienced surgeon, two days of pain and bedrest, and back to normal routine after two weeks, with an out-of-pocket cost to me that was less than the two belts. Yay, Medicare!Summary: the belt might be a good solution for someone with more patience or less access to good medical care than I have.
