Easy to set up and use
Great value. Easy to set up. Easy to use. The complaints on instructions are petty, you can easily find a set up video. It's a simple plug the tube into the port, attach the wand and tip. Adjust suction settings as you go...My personal recommendations: do not use microderm abrasives (diamond dust, scrubs) or heavy lotions, as they will block up the tips and hoses. You will need to rinse the tips often throughout use if you're removing a lot of dry skin. Do not wipe tips off with anything that can stick to the abrasive part or has lint. I use a tooth brush with hot water, Works great.

Great machine, FANTASTIC customer service!
This is my first "professional" microdermabrasion machine but I'm no stranger to microdermabrasion. This is going to be a long review because I really hope it helps others when they're trying to decide on which type of machine to get. I have at least 7 of the handheld unit, including the Microderm Glo. Most units are around $30 to $50 on average while the Microderm Glo with added heads was $250. After using the less expensive units for years I got tired of having to replace them as the heads were always made of cheap plastic that cracked within a few uses causing loss of suction. More importantly, there were no replacement heads available on a single unit, I checked with every seller! I became an expert at supergluing and taping the heads. I made the investment on the Microderm Glo and was happy with it until it just stopped working for no reason 2 weeks short of having it for one year. So here I am stuck with all the cheap handhelds and a super expensive, completely useless Microderm Glo. I decided to try one of the professional units and chose this one and I couldn't be more pleased! Not only does it have fantastic suction but all the heads are stainless steel with rubber gaskets, so no more having to MacGyver stupid cracked plastic heads. Cleaning the heads is super easy too! I use an eyebrow spooly to remove built-up skin/sebum while I'm using the machine and my ultrasonic jewelry cleaning machine for just a few minutes in between uses to deep clean and they come out looking like new. Literally, everything you could possibly need or want is included and I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. At the same time I purchased it I saw that there were sets of replacement heads for only $14 so I went ahead and ordered one. I'm happy to say it was completely unnecessary! If you're looking for a microdermabrasion system and are serious about skincare, don't bother with the handhelds. You'll get what you pay for! Even buying a super overpriced handheld was a waste of time for me in the long run. I wholeheartedly recommend the Doris Direct Dermabrasion Machine!

Early days yet. May just work.
I received it at the end of December and first used it three weeks later. This week is the third time I'm using the machine. Yes, it does leave your skin feeling smoother and softer, albeit temporarily. It's not quite as powerful as the one at my dermatologist's office even with longer application of 2 minutes per side of face. I also used it on my arms, nape, and anterior chest.Note: I prep with a soft brush, massage, and astringent before using. I then apply a dermatologist-prescribed lotion immediately after, the twice a day for a week. I also religiously apply 50+ SPF sunscreen.Addendum: my dermatologist scoffs at this, but I'm determined to prove them wrong.

Blackheads beware
I love this item. It is so profesh. It will suck your face clear off if you put it that high. That is the type is quality I want in my at home devices.

Review updated after replacement. Working great!
Updated review: so after submitting a video of my issue stated below I received a Facebook message from the manufacturer. There was no way for me to contact them and they also had an issue contacting me. (Assuming it was an Amazon thing) Even though they couldn’t message me directly they went on to track me down through Facebook and message me which I believe is going above and beyond. They no questions asked, immediately sent me a new machine. So far I’ve only used it twice and it hasn’t had an issue yet. But they reassured me they would do all they can to help if I had any further problems. Very Impressed that they took the time to find me via whatever way they had to to right this wrong. They also stated they were having their team look into the problem to make sure it won’t happen again. So here’s to hoping it was an isolated issue with the button and I now have a well working machine. Other things I like are the tips. They aren’t too harsh or make lines. It seems to make a smooth exfoliation with a nicely controls suction.First review: Button won’t stay in the on position! I literally used it 3 times! I am one day behind the return date. And there’s no way to contact the manufacturer. As an esthetician who has been in business for 12 years this is my first with a product like this!
