This helmet is just a touch too big
This helmet is just a touch too big, even though I measured my child's head according to the sizing instructions. I'm not returning the helmet, however, because my daughter really likes the color and graphic/print. She also likes that she can vent the helmet if she's too warm, or she can shut the vents if she's cold. Nevertheless, the helmet fits too loosely and moves around instead of staying snug on the head, but if my daughter wears her tuque underneath, the helmet fit is okay (snug enough to be safe). The tuque isn't very thick or anything; it's just a regular knit cap, but it adds just enough padding to make the helmet fit more snugly to her head. I figure she will eventually grow into the helmet and won't need to wear a tuque underneath. She's 6 years old, and I imagine the helmet will fit until she's around 10 or so. Other than the slightly large fit, I am very happy with this helmet and so is my daughter.
