Frozen Sushi Grade Ahi / Yellowfin Tuna ~2.2lbs Total Weight

I just received the package about 25 mins ago, and my house still smells horrible from the juice that drips out of the box. The box was barely sealed. The fish was not frozen. There was no dry ice left. One of the bags was leaking. This was too good to be true. I should have known you can't send sushi grade tuna via the mail. I received unfrozen and rancid fish on my doorstep.

I would have given this item 5 stars, except for the fact that the weight shown, which is 2.2 pounds, is not what arrived. What I actually received was two packages of 14 ounces. having said that, this is absolutely top quality product. it is packed well inside of a giant cooler surrounded with dry ice, vacuum sealed into a plastic wrapper.

I bought 2 orders and the package was damaged, and the Tuna was not frozen, was un-thawed but still somewhat cold, don't think it would be safe to eat it.

very fresh - you will not be disappointed. I was a little worried about it being frozen. I cut the fish into smaller portions (still frozen) and placed in freezer. When I want sushi I take a serving out to defrost. It is so tasty and FRESH.
