After retirement, I set about clearly out the decades of paperwork I had filed away, and ended with a pile 4feet (120cms) high !!Efforts to deal with this volume using a small 2 minute use shredder, only capable of shredding single sheets was futile, and may have taken the rest of my life !enter the Bonsaii - after some testing, I decided to limit the number of sheets inserted at one time to 5, criss-crossed sheets in a stack about 12 inches (30cms) tall, then set about shredding in one long session.Easy, quiet, reliable, and efficient.Over a week, I filled 12 green bags (same size as the old black bags used for rubbish, but used in our city for recycle items), all of which were taken by refuse dept for recycling !!Job done, and I now stay on top of shredding on a day by day basisWell Worth the Cost

I have had this for a couple of years and it is a brilliant machine. It is so good that yesterday I tried to put far too many sheets through at once and it jammed. Did the usual reverse etc but had to manually clear the slot with thin pliers. When plugged it back in and tested it the blue Auto light kept flashing so after more clearing I eventually thought the sensor must have failed. Ended up stripping the whole thing down and vacuumed out the mechanism. Then tested again with the same result. It turns out that there is a microswitch to make sure the waste bin is in place and if it isn't it flashes the auto light.

Easy to use - on wheels for good manoeuvrability. Effective shredder

Assembly with fitting the wheels is absolutely awful and I cracked the base when trying to fit the front ones and that was 'doing it gently'.Shredder itself is really good, easy to use, easy to manoeuvre though it does wobble due to difficulty fitting the wheels fully to their desired length. Value for money is a challenging question due to the above.Would be best supplied with the wheels pre-fitted.Even though it's brand new and I broke it fitting the wheels, I repaired it with superglue as I couldn't be bothered with the exchange process due the weight and subsequent handling of it.

I bought this and didn’t work at all save your money as this is rubbish. I returned it to Amazon warehouse and still got no refund for it it didn't work at all and there was no contact with seller not a serious business and was not worth the money I lost. Not a reputable seller avoid this seller at all costs buy from a proper shop

For the money, this product extremely robust. Other shredders at similar price point just cant handle the volume and consistent use that we need. This is the second Bonsaii shredder we have bought as they are so reliable, so i use them in all my businesses. Also, the company upheld it's 12 month warranty, and replaced the product free of charge when an unusual fault developed after 11 months of ownership. Can't ask for more really.

I did my research on machines that can handle cardboard shredding, which I use for compost. This came out top for value. Works perfectly! It doesn’t cope with triple ply cardboard (too thick) but single ply and double ply (the most common types for Amazon) are fine. Great buy!

Easy to use and empty. So much quicker and quieter than my old shredder

What a great shredder! My favorite feature is the removable bin. It is perfect for shredding a lot of documents. The machine is pretty quiet and easy to use. The first one I ordered arrived damaged and would not work but I am certain it was damaged during shipping. Returning it was fast and easy. Since I received the replacement, I have been very happy with this purchase.I understand there are less expensive ones to choose from, however I would recommend spending a little more to get this one. It works well, has all the same features that other shredders have, shreds 20 sheets (although for any shredder I would not go over half the number of sheets it says, so only do about 10 at a time so you do not get paper stuck), shreds credit cards and CD's and has the removable bin. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Worked like a charm, i did 10 garbabge bags of shredded paper, it can handle 20 sheets of paper but motor slows down a little, it handled 10-15 sheets at a time no problem,, glad i bought this unit

The first one showed up very banged up box and delivered by Amazon drivers. This box is very top heavy claimed to be a quiet u it and could run for 20 min... I ran thru unit 1 about 10 credit card junk mail envelopes thru and and it was loud as hell, it finally stopped taking any paper thru it and never had a red light jam pop up. I sent it back and this new unit is like day and night, very quiet and running perfectly. I even bought lube sheets for this one. It's a nice unit but I am thinking I might have bought the 14 page unit that can run for 60 minutes now...

Love it! Does a great job shredding. And alot more quieter than our other shredder.Big and sturdy.Easy to assemble.Def recommend.
