Afternoon on the Amazon (Magic Tree House, No. 6)

My son is hooked on the Magic Treehouse book series. This particular book was one of our many Magic Treehouse purchases. This series is thought provoking, imaginative, an even a bit educational. My son isn’t quite ready to read these on his own, so it has become our nightly routine for me to read him a chapter or two each night. It sparks conversation about what will happen next and about the historical events and places that Jack and Annie visit in each book. It has us looking up more information on the time or place featured in each book, per my son’s request!

My son loves this series!! Can’t wait to finish them all. They are easy, yet exciting to read for young readers and help build a love for reading!

My son loves these books so much. They’re perfect for his current reading level and age appropriate. Some of the books at his reading level aren’t appropriate for his age, but we really do enjoy these books.

Loved this book in the series. It was great that all the challenges Jack and Annie had to deal with were animals and not people. My Grandson loved it.

A great book for ages 5-10. Some parts a bit scary for those who get scared easily :) :) :)

My kids can't get enough. Story time has become their favorite time of day.That being said I am looking for alternate books due to the cost of the books for the kindle. I could see paying $4.99 for a paper back book, but for the electronic version that's really steep for a short childrens book. The books are short. They take 2-4 days of reading 2-3 chapters per day.(short chapters)Just my $.02.

My boy likes this book collection very much. I bought it because he is really into it and I am happy he enjoys the reading. Again I think is a bit too expensive... I would buy definetely more books and more often if the price was half of the actual one.

My student enjoyed the read, but didn’t love it because it’s not overly exciting.Good level for Grade 1 and 2. A little predictable.

A good book enjoyed by 8 to 9-year-olds when learning about the rainforest through fiction instead of non-fiction.

This is a great series of books which are not too difficult to read, not too long and have lots of exciting content to stimulate young minds. They are a bit pricey but would still highly recommend.

Daughter enjoys these collections.
