I was looking for a battery replacement for my Acer Aspire 5740-6378 and this one works great! It arrive in just one week and so far I get almost two hour of use before having to plug in my laptop. Great!Estaba buscando un reemplazo para la bateria de mi Acer Aspire 5740-6378 y esta funciona genial! Llegó en solo una semana y hasta el momento me da casi dos horas de uso antes de tener que conectar la laptop a la electricidad. Genial!

It works however, a fully charged battery doesn't last longer than a hour and a half. But for the price it will do for now.

The Acer Aspire laptops have an issue with the BIOS accepting a new battery. This battery may be OK, but I won't know until I can fix the BIOS issue. A lot of blogs talk about this problem. This is my son's computer and I have not had time to try and fix it.

The battery is a good product. It did not work on my computer. Maybe others have better experience than mine.

thees batteries do not last long, perhaps 1-1/2 years at most.

So far so good, but I've just started using this new battery. Time will tell if it's got staying power or if its lifespan will rapidly decline like the original. My old battery would only last about 6 minutes if unplugged, so anything is better than that!

The battery does not hold a lot of juice very long. It dies very quickly. If you use the computer a lot like my husband and I, you should buy the right battery for your ACER. Just saying
