I would say that they are certainly strong enough to sit on but doubt the top step will be high enough to work from especially if you want to reach a counter. However, they are very stable and sturdy for standing on. Hope that helps!

The height of the 1st step is 23cm (9 i/16 inches) high, 2nd step 47cm 181/2 inches) high.

Q: Is this made in China?

Unfortunately yes! On a sticker it says, Made in China for DOMU Brands Ltd. M24 2RW. Don’t let that put you off, they are excellent ladders and very sturdy. A good buy.

Q: What is the Max weight ( in Kg ) that the steps can safely handle?

The instructions that came with these said the max load weight is 150kg.
