My favorite collar ever. My dogs get complimented all the time and everyone always ask where to buy it. I've had one for my older doberman for 1.5 years now and it's still in great shape! My dogs swim in theirs all the time and there's no tarnishing or damage to the collar at all. The handle is perfect too!

I've had the collar on my Dog for a week. I'm pleased with it, and it's durable. The buckle is better than any other I've tried, and I found it simple to adjust. I'm glad, I did go with the medium. I have an 88lbs German Sheppard that's 10 months old, and it fit just fine on her. She hates wearing them to begin with, and is a master at getting them off. She can't get this one. I do use a gentle leader when she works, but the collar is nice too when she's not working, or training. I'm also a fan of the material, it is what most of our gear is made out of in the Marine Corps. The long , and the short of this review, is I'd suggest this collar, along with how it shipped quick, and it is durable. One other note, the material isn't bothering her neck. It's tight enough, to get a finger between collar, and her neck. Maybe this will help anyone else.

Let me start off by saying that this collar is thicker than it seems (about 1.5 in) and is built VERY well from what I can tell thus far. The buckle is kinda finicky and getting the collars length set up for my dog was also somewhat a pain but other than that it's been a great collar and the handle on it has helped me out a lot when I need a close grip on my dog while hiking or any random scenario.Design- 8/10 It has a decent design, the buckle could open easier and it could be easier to adjust but if it works it works and I haven't had any issues other than the initial setup with the collar to complain on in the design part.Quality- 10/10 this boy is thicc and very well built. I replaced my dogs last collar because it was a year ish old and was starting to fade and I was starting to question the integrity of the latch and stitching. I don't see that being a problem for this collar for a long long time and it does its job well.Comfort-10/10 The collar fits great and doesn't rub at all or cause any discomfort on my dog, the handle is sturdy and doesn't hurt the hand if I had to pull hard on it for any given scenario.Conclusion- I would buy this for all my dogs but it only fits my larger one, highly recommend and it fits true to size. It gets my thumbs up.

This is a very heavy duty collar. It’s very thick and rigid. To fit properly it sits a little high on my Dobe’s neck and I thought it might bother him but he’s never seemed to mind it. He’s a very excitable dude (he’s pre-neuter right now) and having something with a handle is a life saver. This collar alone works almost as well as a harness. The hardware is gorgeous and we get tons of compliments on it. I think my only input would be there Velcro strap under the handle. The edges and corners of Velcro can be pretty sharp and there’s a strap the you can use to pin down the handle but when I use the handle, the edges scrape up the back of my hand.Overall it’s the best collar we’ve ever had and the name patch we added looks awesome.

Still waiting for him to grow into it but this collar is excellent quality and very durable! Exactly what I was looking for, love that I have the handle and already added his Velcro name badge to it. I have a shepherd and was looking for something sturdy and more aggressive looking and I found it. Can't wait til it fits him

I bought this for my 92 pound Doberman. He was wearing a typical nylon collar with a plastic clasp. One day he was in the garage with me tethered to my hitch when he became interested in neighborhood cat. He decided to go for the cat and snapped that plastic buckle like it was nothing. Didn't even slow him down. I couldn't believe it. I was thinking he could have done that the whole time I had been using that collar. So never again. Its military grade with a metal buckle from now on.I really like the handle grip and the way this collar goes on. Works very well for us. Highly recommend.

I like it and it doesn't seem to bother my dog either. Its a thick collar I will say that. But its well made too. Very sturdy. And is padded too on the inside for comfort. Has little weight to it too. Buckle is great quality and fits my dog well. I like the fact that it has a handle too but it also has a strap to hold it down flat when not needed. Will definitely recommend!

This is a sturdily built collar, perfect for my dog. Nice quality. My only complaint is the velcro tab backing on the inside aspect of the collar used for adjustment. The edges are very sharp and caused a lot of irritation to my Dobie's neck. I had to cover the tab with Gorilla Duct tape to keep the edges from continuing to rub the skin raw. I think someone else had that complaint as well, so if you have a short haired dog, keep an eye out for cuts or wounds on the neck. Other than that, I would definitely buy this collar again.
