David Westnedge Poker Dice - Large 17mm Dice

Ideal...Son loves them...was'nt even aware you could get such a thing......I was at his house one evening when him and two of his friends had said that they fancied a game of poker but they could'nt be bothered getting all the stuff out for it...I thought to myself that poker dice would be an ideal solution for a quick wee game...Did'nt say anything at the time just ordered them from Amazon for a Christmas Stocking filler......He is delighted...his friends like them too as you can have quick game any time you feel like it. Excellent

Very nice set of dice made from a hard, smooth resin type material making them very strong and comfortable to hold. The print is well finished and clear to read. These are about 2mm bigger than regular dice which I believe is the standard size for poker dice. They come in a thin, clear, plastic case with a push on lid which feels quite fragile and could easily snap or crack if you're not careful when taking it off. Because the lid just pushes on, there's nothing to stop the dice from falling out if you were to shake it or flip it upside down so I've had to wrap a small rubber band around it to keep it secure. Would have been better if they were in a leather pouch or a small wooden box but overall a very lovely set of poker dice. I chose this set because I liked the fact they were white as opposed to an ivory colour making them look crisper, cleaner and easier to read. I especially like the design of the ace being a spade rather than a single spot or a small club design that you find on other sets. Personally I think this design looks aesthetically better. 5 stars for the dice but sadly I've had to deduct one star because of the rubbish case which I don't expect to last very long before it breaks. I highly recommended this set but advise you to invest in a better case to store them in.

Not much weight to these, but appear to be nice quality dice, with clear and uniform embossed printing. The oversize ace of spades is a neat touch, as it looks great when it comes up in multiples.Pity about the case, cheap looking plastic covered in manufacturer stickers. I doubt it will last long before cracking.Would've preferred a cardboard box or fabric pouch.
