I love my Flower Carpet Roses!
I purchased "Pink" and "Apple Blossom" Flower Carpet roses in June 2020. One year later in June 2021 they are gorgeous! Flower Carpets are so unusual and hardy - no one else in my neighborhood has them. My photos show what mine looked like when I first received them and what they look like a year later. The pink ones have especially flourished. The shape of the flowers is a little different on the different colors - the apple blossom have more petals in the center while the pink has a more open center. For those folks who complain about the price - Flower Carpet roses are extremely difficult to find and they do cost more than other roses. If you can find them, buy them because they are not easy to locate, and I have paid more for others from another vendor. I chose Flower Carpet roses for my landscape beds after doing a lot of research and discovering that they are disease resistant (all the Knock Out roses in my neighborhood have died due to Rose Rosette disease) and they profusely bloom over and over, spring thru fall. They spread out for ample ground cover, don't get too tall (perfect for underneath windows), survive cold spells, and are extremely low maintenance. They will do much better if you mulch them. You can even cut them and put in a vase to enjoy indoors. I just love everything about Flower Carpet roses!UPDATE May 2025: My Flower Carpet Roses got rose rosette virus and I had to remove them. So disappointed.

NIce landscape rose
This rose arrived in excellent condition with very healthy foliage, very well branched, and a good established root system. It's been planted for about 5 weeks now and has been in bloom for the last 3 weeks. The red is a very deep vibrant color, a true red, not an orange/red color.Just know that the flowers are small, about the size of a quarter. I knew this before I ordered it because I have other Flower Carpet roses. However, once these roses get established they bloom profusely and continually so the quantity of the blooms compensates for the size of them.

INVASIVE PLANT IN THE UNITED STATES?!
This Carpet Rose plant arrived healthy looking and vibrant - I was excited to plant it. And then I found out that it is considered INVASIVE in the United States! "the rugosa rose produces large hips (fruit) that are eaten by birds, who then disperse the seeds, aiding in its spread. So, while Rosa rugosa may be desirable for its beauty and resilience, it is listed in the Invasive Plant Atlas of the United States."Why is an invasive plant even available to easily purchase, use, and encourage without clear information and warnings about the invasive properties?? Some buyers care deeply about this. It should be mandatory information to include.

Great purchase and seller
Bought a half dozen of these a couple years ago. They're doing great. But I must say, the seller really did a superb job packing this order. My first order was pretty tattered (although, the plants are doing fine as mentioned), but these were shipped in much more substantial boxes and delivered almost flawless. A couple had some minor rips and dents, but I have complete confidence that these will do very well. I need to buy more from them.

Good plant from quality seller
During the past two decades, I have ordered many roses from online nurseries and with mixed results. I find that the packaging, the box, and the soil for this rose plant to be perfect. The only concern was the length of shipping time, which was a full week that the plant was in a box. In March, the plant was shipped from the northeastern US to coastal Louisiana, which was not a problem. The transition of weather zones was from cold, to mild. If it had been in the heat of summer, I would have waited for cooler weather to order. When I unboxed the it, I saw a leafless plant that it had been cut back with three inches of canes above soil. It looked like there were two plants that had been rooted in the same starter pot. I think that the plant must have been repotted to the larger shipping pot with a soil that was beneficial for retaining moisture. Considering the temperature changes during shipping, I likened it to a plant that was ready to come out of dormancy. For ten days, it has been in an outside place that is sheltered from the March wind, with five hours of morning sun, and I have monitored the soil moisture. The result is that it has leafed out and looks healthy. It is time to expose the plant to a less protected environment. I believe this plant will do well.

Not what they say they are. (at least what I bought)
I didn't get what the product description says I was ordering. What I received looks identical to what was pictured. I bought 2 white 2 yellow. All were in good health and bloomed well all summer. The problem with these is as it turns out they are not ground cover and not flower carpet roses. These are drift roses and are well over 3 feet tall. They also do not spread like flower carpet roses and look more like a regular height rose bush. They do not work where I planted them and do not go with the other roses I planted because they tower over them. Regrettably it took a growth season to find this out so even though the product description in my case was wrong there is no exchange option available. I don't think I'll buy plants online anymore it's too risky and I put a lot of time into these as far as care and now I have to rip them out and start over. Very disappointing.

Gorgeous blooms
I’m not an experienced gardener and this was my first mail order plant. First picture is how it arrived, very healthy looking. Here’s a few pictures of how it looks now. I love going out every morning to see these beautiful blooms in my yard. It’s super easy to care for. Not picky.
